Just another OG Fallout fan. Currently working on a walkthrough/guide for Xkcon's Ultimate Ripoff Mod for Fallout Tactics: Brother Hood of Steel. Might do some other ones eventually, who knows.

Once you're done in the beginner camp just go to a brotherhood bunker and recruit more squadmates. I'd really recommend finishing up to atleast Macomb in the brotherhood campaign before wandering off into the new content. There are alot of tough fights, but lots you can avoid and still explore.

Wow this was not something I was expecting to find randomly on ModDB, I'm a little late to the party but I have to say that I genuinely believe there are things in the universe that are beyond human comprehension.

Its the first building to your immediate right, it is not marked on the map. When you turn in the alliance papers or whatever, make sure to pick up your workers pass and cash reward, it will drop on the desk/table or floor (can't remember), and NOT in your inventory. I made this mistake the first time, left FC after exploring a little bit and could never get back in.

Lots of quests in the mod drop rewards on the floor/desk/table, so keep your eyes peeled when you turn in quests. I missed a ton of stuff my first play through.

Many, many of the maps in the mod have items on the floor, which you will NOT find unless you manually walk/run through every (and I mean every) room and building and scroll around with your mouse. Many of these items will be quest items. This also goes for crates/safes and other lootable objects, Xkcon really likes to make you search for stuff. I found tons of items, cash, ammo etc in crates that are technically "hidden" behind walls. Run your mouse along the walls of every building when you're looting, there's lots of stuff to be found.

Not that I'm aware of. You might be able to manually trade out some files and mix and match some stuff but I have no idea if it would work.

Also note, in order for Ellen to accept the flowers, she needs to be in her position closest to the bar, she won't take them when she's walking around in the room. Nevermind about the cash voucher from the VISA card, that was something else. On my second playthrough, the humvee was available after I'd completed the mission in Quartz, but was still broken the first time I did it. The only difference I can tell is the first time I completed it, I rescued his wife, the second time she died.

Not greatly impressed. The HUD is awful, bright yellow emojis are also awful. I want to like it. I love every thing its trying to be. 10/10 for effort but I honestly do not enjoy actually playing it. Maybe the complete separation from any thing resembling FOT did it for me, I know that's what it's supposed to be but everything feels uncomfortably unfamiliar.

Another issue I had was not being able to scroll across the screen / player area at all? I put my mouse pointer at the edge of the screen and the view doesn't change? The character moves around fine and I can interact with everything I can see, but my view is static and doesnt change. Is that literally how small the map is or am I not doing something right? Keypad/directional arrows on keyboard also dont work.

Honestly, reading this strategy guide was more fun than actually trying to play it. If any one knows if I've just fundamentally done something wrong with install or I'm missing some crucial piece of what should be obvious information about how this is supposed to function please let me know :)
