Full version of Alien Armageddon 4.66 A classic shooter with 3 playable characters, 3 new episodes and hundreds of other levels. Includes an upgrade and leveling system as well as a robust randomizer called Attrition.

To install and run:
- Unpack the folder alien_armageddon from the AA467.7z file.
- You will need 7-Zip to unpack the archive, it is free and open source.
- If upgrading from a previous version, do a clean install of the new version and then copy over your eduke32.cfg and settings.cfg files from your old install, because they contains your settings and saved progress.
- Run eduke32.exe to start the game
Graphic Mode selection:
- On the video mode dropdown menu, use an OpenGL video mode for the game to display properly.
- Do NOT check the box for "Polymer". The Polymer renderer is not compatible with Alien Armageddon.
- Alien Armageddon is compatible with 8-bit video modes, but some graphics will display incorrectly.
Configuration:
As with any mouse and keyboard shooter, you should configure the mouse and keyboard to your liking. Alien Armageddon uses some functions different from regular Duke 3D, including:
ALT FIRE, RELOAD WEAPON, SWAP CHARACTERS, SUBWEAPON, PORTABLE VENDOR
You should assign each of those to suitable keys or buttons from the setup menu before starting a game. SWAP CHARACTERS will switch control of the playable character, if the other character is available. ALT FIRE will activate the secondary function of the weapon currently selected, if the weapon has a secondary function. It is assigned to mouse2 by default. RELOAD WEAPON will reload the weapon, if applicable. SUBWEAPON will switch to a subweapon on the same weapon slot, if one is available (for example, it will switch between shrinker and expander). You can also access subweapons by using the next/previous weapon keys. The PORTABLE VENDOR key will bring up a menu in which you can purchase upgrades and change costumes (this is not available in all episodes though).
A note about the "censoredtiles" folder. This folder contains alternative versions of the .ART files with less explicit sexual content. If you are a streamer who serves a general audience, or just a player who wants less sexual content in the game, replace the .ART tiles at the root with the ones in the censoredtiles folder. Don't forget to make a backup of the originals if you want them later!
Troubleshooting:
Make sure you have tried doing a clean install of Alien Armageddon without any additional files or files from previous versions. Also make sure you are not using the Polymer renderer. If the problem you are having is a performance related issue such as low frame rate or hitching/freezing during gameplay, then you may have a system that does not work well with EDuke32 (e.g. one with an older AMD graphics card). Unfortunately there is little we can do to help in that case, but feel free to contact us so that we can pass on the information to the EDuke32 dev team.
If you are reporting a bug or a crash, please save the ‘eduke32.log' file that was created right after this happened. It will be located at the root level of your game folder with the executable. That file may contain crucial information about the issue which will help us solve it.

Just curious, I played through AA when 4.54 was released, played through the main episodes and some of the maps included in the randomized "episode" and on the character select screen there are several characters visible but only 3 that I can actually pick from (Duke, Bombshell, Blade). Are the other characters unlockable right now or are they just placeholders for a future release?
Anyway, I'm a huge fan of this project so I definitely hope to still see more true episodes coming for it in the future. The level design is *chefs kiss*.

I wrote the last comment so you can delete it and this one. I figured it out. If you don't have the aiming type set to toggle, you can't start the game basically.

Is there a way to spawn money? I can't tell you how many times I spawn in an attrition map with a battlelord in the very first area.

Where in the scripts can I make the xp get bigger. I would like to upgrade everyhting quickly. But also how can I get all the weapons instead of the usual weapons that is done by typing dnweapons.
And that this mod could not be created in pk.3 files, be sure to create exeshniki, not everyone has a PC, someone is sitting on a mobile and it may be difficult for him (her) to do this, only they think for a PC, and they generally hammer bolts for a mobile application!!!

Is there a tutorial on how to play on OSX?
There was version I had of this that 4 playable characters. The 4th Character was an Alien. Does anyone else remember this version? I know I am not crazy LOL
I love how this is not woke at all. 100% woke free with a sexy Shelly Harrison and hot women with big breasts and Duke Nukem saying "offensive" stuff. Thanks for being against the current day trendiness of woke political correctness. Very based mod!
Ive noticed a problem in this version, when I play a custom usermap, its music plays when I load it first time. When I save the game and then load the save file second time, the music stops and doesn't play.
Another thing is that level stats doesn't appear when I play a custom map, they're only visible in the main episodes or the attrition episode. Same goes for the player level and weapon level stats.
In previous versions these issues were not there, would appreciate if you can look into it.
