Thank you to Carmageddon by Gipphe for being, I believe, the first widely known handling.dat mod.
Also thanks Warp Eleven V2 by Synchronex for (I think) being the first moddb negative air drag edit.
This mod alters the air drag of (almost) all vehicles to be negative, meaning that once a car has accelerated past 5-10 mph it will near instantly accelerate to ~175 mph. This is different from the more widely known Carmageddon mod by Gipphe, which alters friction.
There's a couple of mods floating around that do this or a variation of it. I made this file based on a random YouTube video showing off a similar mod in the early 2010's. One of them (possibly the original?) is Warp Eleven V2 by Synchronex.
My main contribution here is that this version purposely leaves Taxis unaffected.
To be super clear: the purpose of uploading this mod is not to rip off anyone or claim that I invented the concept of editing GTAIV's air drag, but instead to host a very specific implementation of it.
