Hello Everyone!!

This is the sixth article for our game Outlawed Steel.

This week we will be showing some concepts and sketches of two characters as well as the plot and narrative of our game.

First, we will show you the rest of the character concepts we started last week, making a total of 4 different characters.

Ranged

Starting with the Ranged Enemy. He is a lighter robot by design, as he was not meant to be fighting in close quarters, the only reinforced part being its legs, to allow for quick movement.

Melee

And, to finalize the character concepts, the Melee Enemy. Compared to its ranged counterpart, he is heavier and he's wearing armor plates to protect him from physical damage.

Finaly, the narrative:

The transition of conscience and memories to a robotic body and system is a crime punished by death, even so many underground groups still use this process to make their members more capable. Or in some cases make slaves, this is more efficient than just factory machines because of a unique reaction between the core that houses the consciece and the core that houses the memories, when these two interact they become a powerful energy source, capable of powering the rest of the body.

McCoy is a retired outlaw that was caught by a law enforcement agency and presented with the arrangement of pursuing criminals as a bounty hunter due to his exceptional capabilities in combat. After several years McCoy built a reputation as a proficient bounty hunter. His current target is Jim Runner, a illusive figure which is the head of the 42nd Dead Man bandit group. This group runs an illegal underground conscience transition operation on a empty old western town in the middle of nowhere. McCoy found this mission particularly appealing due to the location, expecting this mission to unfold into a cowboy-esque shoot-out. Despite the era of the Wild West being far gone McCoy is fascinated by the cowboys of the Old West.
