The Cyclone Game Engine is a cross-platform 2D/3D game engine built upon MonoGame and the XNA Framework to help make it easier and save time creating games. The engine is still in its infancy stages of development. It is primarily built to serve the needs of Steel Cyclone Studios' game projects. More updates are coming so stay tuned!!!
I am working on fixing the camera rotation, particularly when looking up and down or aiming at a target from different positions to prevent the player from seeing the character's body when in first-person perspective. To help fix this, I will turn to inverse kinematics. Models from the scene are being extracted and we are testing the collision. Starting out, I will most likely create two models; a low poly and high poly version. Low-poly models will be rendered unseen and most likely used for the physics collision. The high-poly models with more detailed meshes will be visible for more pleasing visual aesthetics.
