Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas seeks to not only expand on what GTA III and Vice City were, but also to bring it into a new era. With Liberty City taking place in 2001 and Vice City taking place in the 1980s (specifically 1986), San Andreas is set in the early 1990s. Taking place in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Las Vegas, it will be one of the largest video games ever created.
San Andreas was one of the cities that was originally featured in the first Grand Theft Auto game. Since then, the city has been rebuilt and now has its own game coming out on the PlayStation 2 this October. It is sure to be one of the best gaming experiences ever.
Five years ago Carl Johnson escaped from the pressures of life in Los Santos, San Andreas... a city tearing itself apart with gang trouble, drugs and corruption. Where filmstars and millionaires do their best to avoid the dealers and gangbangers.
Now, it's the early 90s. Carl's got to go home. His mother has been murdered, his family has fallen apart and his childhood friends are all heading towards disaster.
On his return to the neighborhood, a couple of corrupt cops frame him for homicide. CJ is forced on a journey that takes him across the entire state of San Andreas, to save his family and to take control of the streets.

It would be really cool if someone made a 24 (Jack Bauer) Mod for this game. One of the police stations would be replaced with CTU (counterterroristunit), probaly in lossantos because it is based off LA and 24 is based in LA. the main character would be Jack Bauer. Missions would be based off the TV show (capturing terrorists, finding the bomb, saving family & friends from terrorists, invading chinese & russian consolates). if any of the missions were failed, a terrorist attack would take place (assasination, nerve gas, Nuclear Bomb, WWIII). Instead of CJ stealing a car, Jack would hold up his CTU badge and commandeer a car. The missions should have a time limit so that it fits into the 24hr period of time. While not playing missions, the time would be associated with the missions and if you killed people, it would be considerd working outside of CTU and they would come and get you. The mod would cover several days worth of missions (each day has a diffrent plot) THANKS FOR READING THIS - it could be a cool mod
