The mod is overall okay with beginner technical mistakes - which I forgive since this appears to be baby's first mod.

It is more than just playable, having a couple of fun little interactive elements and definitely some culture I haven't been aware of before.

Harsh transitions and overall lack of polish & attention to detail reduce this to a 7. If this was your 2nd or 3rd mod, it would've been a 5 due to said beginner technical mistakes.

I'd absolutely say that this game, despite the difficulty, is the root of what we play today.

The graphics are great, even by some of today's standards. The voice acting is fine, and a bit funny. The best thing is probably the flexibility of its engine, where you can attach a minigun to a raft, and then you connect it to a boat.

Even if it does have good graphics, it doesn't mean that it lags. Certainly not. The game won't even lag on an Intel X3100 (if you lower the settings).

But, regarding the difficulty... well, if you complain, then git gud! It's not hard, you're just not good enough.

And the music seems well-composed, along with the dynamic music engine. It reminds me of the music from turkish TV series. It feels dramatic.

Now, the modding aspect is great. E.g. you can easily make a messup mod, with every soldier having a rubber duck as a hat (with the hat already included with Far Cry). And you could easily name your mods: Fat Cry, Half-Cry, Cry Far, Farthest Cry, Fart-Cry, Far Laugh and MANY more...

If I never met that friend of mine, I'd never know about the best game which I ever played.

Very authentic, and immersive, in a combination with a lot of weapons, vehicles, and detail (dust behind tanks, vehicle bobbing, etc.). This is one of the great mods for Battlefield 2. The graphics are good, considering the age of the game, attention is paid on every single centimeter, nice amounts of vegetation per specific maps, etc. There's a lot to say about this, but it's one of the best.

A lot of great games don't have co-op. Half Life is lucky to have this. Half Life maybe didn't have great graphics, or tons of weapons, people were interested because of the gameplay, the story, the imersiveness, and so on... And even now, people play it, together.
