For example lot of core entities have been upgraded.
We now support wildcards which greatly increases potential for advanced scripting.
Many entities have been consolidated and upgraded to greatly speed up mapping and make more convenient with things like presets and editor helper models.
monstermaker for example can now dispatch a warp effect. The warp effect alone used to take about 5-10 entities depending on how elaborate you wanted it to be. Now its an optimized event based ( multiplayer friendly ) effect which the monstermaker can make if you desire.
I also have this problem. My current solution is to have a .bat file to kill steam before I try to run jack again
Hello, I love the JACK editor and have been using it constantly to work on my mod Occult-Scrim for HL1.
Is it possible to toggle a different kind of SPRITE selection? Often.. if sprite scale is set big - the sprites prevent you from easily selecting things around it. My usual process in 3D view is to keep clicking on sprites and pressing H to quick hide them until I get to my desired selection.
I was able to configure the FGD for lot of entities to use my custom models.
However I was not able to get env_sprite to use my "sprite helper" model
I am able to use sprite helper models for env_sprite in hammer editor for source engine and it greatly helps working with sprites I believe.
Thank you for this great program !!! ; ) I also noticed Paste Special seems to do nothing if you use keyboard ENTER to press OK or if you don't wait about 1 second after the dialog window comes up.
