Laser tech and Fusion was relatively new compared to Ballistic Weapons that why they are still around :P Food was purposely irradiated to preserve it... Weapons I can't explain but then again we still find Ancient weapons every now and then and those are THOUSANDS of years old...

Silly me :P Well if you notice Lore wise is that Energy Weapons are the Fallout Worlds Forte... They mastered Fusion which allowed for the Laser Weapons, Thus their research was focused along those lines, They didn't really need Ballistic Weapons anymore thus Development on those would of slowed :P Just saying... personally I don't mind at all as long as the textures don't look like the guns off the factory line... I want it to look like its 200 Years old :D If you can pull that off I'll be satisfied ^_^
Just remember those incidents are not on the scale of Fallout.... It was one power plant around a limited radius... Hiro was one bomb... Fallout was THOUSANDS (That is if The Chinese bombed ALL of the USA)Thats what people keep forgetting when they compare.
Well you don't need to hunt down every weapon ever made :P Since its Fallout I'd say weapons around WWII are good to go for Lore Friendliness (Fallout doesn't have Super Modern weapons remember...) Also regarding the Dismemberment thing, Lets keep things plausible... A Sniper Bullet could make body parts explode, 10MM Rounds cannot... You want to keep it fun? Let explosions and dismemberments be a treat only high powered weapons can provide... For Dismemberment make it so only Bladed Melee weapons can do that.

Erm.... Mind making it as an optional? I can see how a lot of people would hate being able to carry only two guns (Though I guess the ammo limits ok aslong as you increase it just a bit for Automatic Weapons)
Btw I'm kinda curious... You were pretty hell bent on keeping Nuka Cola as Coca Cola, How come you changed your mind?
Well you could for Mothership Zeta change the Alien Blaster and Firelance to use Alien Power Module and Replace Alien Power Cells with the Alien Module, And you could balance out the Alien Weps or something so they're strong but not Uber :P
Yea of course theres bug fixes and everything but it also changes some things I really didn't like :D I'v been looking for a good realism mod since I refound my Fallout 3 CD... I'v tried FWE But I don't like it too much... It'll do for now but I can wait till version 7 :D

Whow... LURK optimization and graphics with CoP gameplay... Wow that would be... so... totally... amazing O.o It would be the greatest STALKER experience the likes of which the world has never seen before!
Would it be possible to remove the "make suit drops leather jacket" things and add it as an optional because it doesn't allow you to get uniques like Ghosts STALKER suit
Makes it more realistic, sure you can kill the enemy easily but they can kill you pretty easily too and since your always outnumbered its much more tactical and exciting :D

The storyline thing is optional right? Personally I don't fancy playing as the Monolith, I;v always liked Military STALKER's though and Neutral Stalkers, I'v always been Duty by heart. Nothing beats Militaristic Organization ^_^

Excellent mod, I can't play without it just one small gripe... Weapon Realism mods don't work with this :( So I was kinda hoping that maybe you could add PLR's Realistic Weapons to this or even just as a compatible optional. It ruins the immersion and realism when a dog can take a full pistol clip before dieing :( Seeing as your striving to keep STALKER's immersion a weapon realism mod just makes sense ^_^
Sounds good :) Would it also be possible for you to add more labs and documents to collect aswell? make sure you have LOTS of missions and some good random ones :D Since theres no story we'll need something to do :) Faction wars would also be a blessing but make it better then CS... Other then being able to join a faction the Wars in that game were.... Lacking at best :) I wish you much luck but since it will take a while to finish I'll probably find something else in the meantime ^_^.... Actually... If you could let us choose who we want to start as and give us a medium sized storyline for each... That would be legendary epic O.o As a Military you try to retake the zone, Duty tries to annihilate the mutants ect ect. I doubt you'd do that but its just an idea...
What do you guys plan to do for CoP anyway? Since this is based on Oblivion lost what will you guys be doing for 3.0?
Any plans for a CoP L.U.R.K once CoP comes out in English? I would simply love to have LURKS Supremely Optimized graphics coupled with CoP's superior game play :D Other then the graphics being a bit lacking (thats acceptable given the levels size though) Plus apparently CoP's stealth mechanic is working much better so with a bit of LURK love we could finally have fully working stealth in a STALKER game :D
Actually I found a better solution (for me anyway) I used the Weather option of having it always Clear with no Grimdark... Its the Grimdark thats been terrorizing my eyes :P Its all fixed now and I'm REALLY enjoying the game, It gets dark at night like its supposed to so its perfect now :D
P.S When you use the sleeping bag and the lighting hasn't changed save and reload that fixed it for me :)
The only thing that bugs me is that its ALWAYS so damn dark... I really hurt my eyes this morning trying to pick up bandits at like 12 AM when it was REALLY dark... Thats my only Gripe with this mod :P
Of course I'm not saying not to put it on other sites, just make sure its atleast on this one... I can't wait for 2.5 its so close :D and I REALLY can't wait for 3.0 ^_^ CoP looks like the best STALKER to date :D GSC is finally getting its act together wouldn't you agree?
I'm not sure if this mod has it but it should incorporate The Zone Reclamation Bug Fix pack ( Metacognix.com )
Ugh I feel like an idiot (which was what I was trying to prevent >.<) I didn't install the new patch over the 1.05 Full which is needed >.< Ah well :P
One last thing, What time do you think 2.5 will come out?
I dunno whats wrong in my version (I got the full install) But there is no optional of the PDA, just Weight, Weather, Shaders and Grass
No problem I understand :) Though why don't you host your files on Moddb? Maybe just host 2.5?
Hey when you make the new version could you host it on filefront? I have to use a download manager because of my crappy internet always interupting my downloads and I can't do that with the sites you have :( Plus Filefront always gives good speeds for me.
