The mixing of the old aestethic with the excellent new techniques of the up to date engine, story telling and level designing gave birth to something really extraordinaire and unique. I was lost in the atmosphere since the first frame of the unique boat ride introduction, the creepy and isolated inners of the borealis and it's new throwing mechanic to defend ourselves, the oppressing and desolated streets of city 17 after landing to this new and unique naval port, overlooking the tower and giving us a glimpse of the combines at work, the abbandoned construction site which ultimately led to a familiar place to those ones who know enough about HL2 Beta, what i've appreciated the most was the subdle way the old story line got mixed with the new one, giving us an excellent alternative story. The voice acting was decent enough, the attention to detail was excellent and overall i'm at a loss of words.
