Hmm I'll try that.
Hmm I'll try that.
It yields the same results.
I JUST downloaded the game. Quick-saving (F5) still just prints "SAVING" on the screen and hangs the entire game, forcing me to ctrl-alt-del out of it. I have Windows 7 and the game in the parent directory of an SSD drive. The DNF Restoration First Slice works on my computer.
Dear followers,
Sorry I nor my partner ever responded on here. I totally lost contact with him abruptly and was super bummed. I kept hoping I would and then I eventually forgot about this and have since moved on. I just happened to visit this today and thought I would shed some, all be it, dim light on it all. So, yes, this is a dead mod, but I'll keep this up for documentation purposes. Thanks all!

This is one of the best things I've ever played, certainly horror-wise. The weirdness is done soooo well.
Thank you so, so much for your work on this!
Thank you so much for this breakdown!
We still are not dead, and we will be starting up again soon.
We are not dead, just on a break. We apologize for the long time of no updates.
We're recreating Resident Evil 1 and it will have all the monsters from that game which is about 12 different creatures.
It's supposed to be silly.
I will answer the question that a number of you keep asking: Why isn't this being done on the Source engine?
The answer is:
1. This is being made for Resident Evil: Cold Blood, which is for the Goldsource (Half-Life 1) engine.
2. For us, and the number of others still developing for the Goldsource engine, it is intriguing and challenging to see how much we can squeeze out of an old (but still very good) engine. Take a look at Cry Of Fear and Heart Of Evil: Napalm Edition, for instance. As you can see, the results are very nice and the Goldsource engine still has a lot of life in it.
I hope this answers the question.
Yeah, that's the shotgun in Resident Evil: Cold Blood. We are using the same weapon models from it as this is a project for that mod.
This map is an entirely new recreation of the Spencer Mansion by our mapper, Krook. I am very happy to be working along side him.
I think it would look much better if the yellow light strips were white instead.
Let me know if you need any pictures of them.
I would suggest looking at some of the labs from the games to help.
It does look fantastic. Though, I must say that I really do not get a Resident Evil feeling from it. Also, in Resident Evil, everything in the environments had a distinct purpose and story behind it. I guess my question would be: why would the lab have this room set up like this? I'm not necessarily saying that it wouldn't, but it's something that should be thought about. I'm just saying this one Resident Evil lover to another.
Holy sh** was my reaction, as well. That is SO incredibly cool.
This mod has some of the best zombies I've seen in any game or mod.
Your team's graphical style is great and so unique. I love it!
That snow effect is amazing and unique in a zombie setting.
I love that flashlight.
This was/is definately the best map in Beta 1. Setup perfectly with so many things to explore, especially for a multiplayer map.
