It's too dark to do anything! I have turned the brightness all the way up and the game is just pitch black unless I use a cheat. What can I do?

FIXED!!!! Finally! I just simply moved d3d9.dll out of the folder. Works like a charm.

Tried everything as stated above. Followed all instructions to a T. Still crashes on startup. Not sure what else to do. I did notice on the installation that the green bar doesn't go all the way to the end. It stops about 3/4 there and says installation complete... Not sure why

I agree with you. Same thing happened to me. I just reinstalled the game. And was about to try again. I think I might just skip v4. As you can see I posted a similar question. I am not entirely sure if we are even going to get a response sadly.

OK, I know this has been asked before but there has been no direct response or fix for this problem. As soon as I click to start the game I get a message from windows stating the game has crashed. It worked perfectly before I installed V4 and will not run at all now. Do I need to install the older mods first before V4? I installed V4 and 4.5.. Anybody have a fix? I am running on Windows 7 64 bit..Thank you. The mod looks really good by the way!

The screenshots look really good and very ambitious. Kinda sad that the developer just disappears and the project abandoned. At least let us know what happened and why you gave up? Thanks
