I loved it.

The only thing I found lacking was the voice acting, as it felt very forced. I will however say that I still appreciated it being there. I absolutely LOVED how the water monster was introduced, developed and handled. The whole story was creepy in all the right places, and I wish I could forget all about this custom story and play it all over again. PLUS it's also got developer commentary, which I always enjoy listening to.

If the voice acting was replaced with something a bit better, this would be a 10/10 from me.

I think it's very good and a nice long CS is always nice to see, but there are way too many monsters. The player is never given a break, it feels like you're either hiding or running away from a monster in every single map.

I very much enjoyed the rest of it though. If the amount of monsters was turned down a bit, this would be a good solid 9/10 from me.

Nice and long custom story, but the performance problems just absolutely wrecked my enjoyment. I liked what it has to offer, but I don't think HPL2 is the best place for this. I completely forgot that you were supposed to avoid 1080p, so I guess I'm not completely blameless either. In my defense, there was no reminder in-game.

There were a couple (only a couple, had no problem with most of it) of level design issues that had me scratching my head. I also didn't like the "inside your mind" bit, absolutely hated the arena. However the rest of it I really loved.

Great atmosphere, good story and nice visuals. If this was remade in some other engine with better performance and the level design issues smoothed over, this could very well be a 10/10 from me. You've got a very strong basis for something great here, and I would absolutely love to see more from you.
