This GZDoom mod totally converts Doom, Doom II, and Final Doom into a full-fledged Aliens game. You must face Weyland-Yutani androids, predators, and xenomorphs a celestial battle for survival.
The newest and final build of ALIENS: ERADICATION TC with many improvements, fixes and additions.
Fight for survival in the Xenomorph universe. Choose from 4 unique classes to battle the Aliens, destroy malfunctioning droids, fight off mercenaries, outgun Company operatives, save colonists, deploy turrets, launch attack drones, and pierce the darkness with flares and a flashlight. All while avoiding the dreaded Facehuggers and Predators.
If all goes well, this should be the final update for Aliens: Eradication. Thanks to everyone who has played the mod and a special thanks to those who provided feedback and suggestions. If I did not include anyone's ideas, it was because I either could not implement them or I chose not to include them for creative/technical reasons. This update fixes many issues that plagued me from early on in development.

A list of map sets (wads) I have found to play well with Aliens: Eradication is at the bottom of this post.
Here's what is new in version 2.0:
1. Reworked the texture patches to provide more variety when used with wads containing vanilla textures.
2. Player now has proper "pain" and "fall" sounds specific to their class.
3. Loot boxes no longer damage players when broken open while standing immediately next to them.
4. Exploding barrels no longer launch "nails" or shrapnel as they would hit and damage the player from great distances.
5. Changed the hud color effect for the speed burst/adrenaline to a soft blue as the original color used was too similar to the rad suit color.
6. Most Aliens will now climb out of deep pits. No more cheesing them... they will scale walls to get to you!
7. The Combat Synthetic class can remain under water indefinitely as it does not breathe.
8. The Combat Synthetic class is impervious or, at least resistant, to most damaging floors due to it's non-organic nature.
9. Humans, in particular freed colonists, no longer get stuck on top of barrels and other decorations.
10. Strobe lights above lifts no longer drop to the floor when the lift is activated. This can still happen under rare circumstances that involve crushers and certain moving sector actions.
The following fixes are specific to the included Eradication mapset:
1. Fixed a bug that prevented some enemies from activating in the final map for the Colonist class.
2. Timers used in map 2 for the Combat Synthetic class are now displayed properly with all digits included.
3. Cleaned up some unneeded lines for the AutoMap.

The Aliens have risen again on planetoid LV426 at Weyland/Yutani corporation's best kept secret...A second colony! They still want the creature for research.

HOW TO PLAY:
-Unzip the folder and run both files (pk3 and wad) with the pk3 first and the wad second.
-THE PK3 FILE ACTS AS A TOTAL CONVERSION FOR OTHER DOOM WADS.
-The ERADICATION wad must be played with the included pk3 file and the DOOM2 iwad.
MANY WAYS TO PLAY:
All difficulty settings are implemented as well as each class presenting it's own unique difficulty.
The easiest setting ("A FEW ALIENS") is more about tension, atmosphere and one on one encounters. The hardest ("HORDES OF ALIENS")
puts you in a near impossible setting. "GAME OVER, MAN" is the Nightmare setting (not recommended:).

the main wads for the alien total converasion works. but some reason the eradicationmapset.wad for by itself of doom 2 shows red errors for certain weapons of tracer not found?

I don't get any errors. Make sure no other mods are running that might interfere and I guess fiddle around with your load order. Get the latest GZDoom 4.7.0. I just recently tested it with that.
yeah its all updated to 4.7.0.

Load the pk3 file first and you shouldn't get those errors. If you are dragging files over a GZDoom shortcut to launch make sure you select the pk3 before the wad. Hope this helps.

Hi i was wandering if you could clear something up, if i drag just the ALIENS_ERADICATION_TC_2_0.pk3 file and play it states Aliens trilogy on the title screen, if i load just the ERADICATION_MAPSET_2_0.wad it states Alien Eradication on the tile screen but with Red triangles everywhere, & when i drag both over the GZDoom Shortcut it states Aliens The ultimate Doom on the title screen, is this 3 different games could you explain please ?
Strange after just dragging both over the shortcut im now getting the Aliens Eradication on the title screen instead.

I went through the company for everyone and spent about 14 hours on it.
And I can say that everything is fine! I played on medium difficulty and it is balanced.
The only thing I wanted to say is that the FPS sometimes sagged down. But I guess I just have a PC potato)
I'm glad you enjoyed it. I spend considerable time trying to find that sweet spot for pc requirements. Not too demanding but still accomplish the visuals I wanted. Some may need to use a lower resolution and reduce/disable things like ambient occlusion or other visual effects. Thanks for playing and commenting.

What an incredible mod! Congratulations on the full final release! I love the multiple start points! Thank you to the team for all your hard work! It truly feels like a sequel to the 1996 FPS game "Alien Trilogy".
Awesome work, mister payload. Just wondering what causes the exclamation marks all over the startup map? Is it missing textures? Regards Also the TC works perfect.
simply amazing, this is better then the games they want you to pay for. I would personally pay for this, to support this kind of productivity in video games, as our current product we have available is declining into something that i can no longer be excited for. I would only ask that we could experience this cooperatively, I know that each class has its own events, maybe a work around would be the events follow the host, and just have a side note that the joining player might want to be same class as host or issues may arise etc.

This is extremely high quality, with each class having their own objectives and the maps having slightly different geometry and scripted events, which adds to replayability quite a bit. I just wish there was a submod for redeploying the turret, and maybe even reloading it.
