Using Einstein's time machine, you have escaped with your soldiers to an unspecified point in time from a world conquered by Yuri and his clones. Unfortunately, Yuri has pursued you. Expand your base, train new soldiers, defend against an army of mind-controlled animals and clones then destroy Yuri! You only have access to basic units. To get better stuff, look for scattered supply packs that contain random buildings, units, and bonuses. Brute Force is a mod that turns Red Alert 2: Yuri's Revenge into a kind of tower defense. You can play on any map you like. Play solo, with allied AI, or with another player in co-op via CnCNet. 99% of assets comes from the vanilla game to maintain the original atmosphere of the RA2.

Anyway I played it. 5 vs 3 (Of course yuri is 3, Every AI is Brutal)
I think you have to tweak difficulty. cuz The yuri CY and control center are too sturdy which endure almost 20 nuke! Nevertheless i crush it, AI rebuilt them immediately with dozens of other buildings!!!

Of course if i can spamm units it dosnt matter, but you limit unit capacity so i cant even go out my defence line.

I think only one situration can get victory is this.

1. select pudo-island or island map.(Never sustain defence at normal map)
2. capture or get the battle lab(or secret lab) to make unit which can blow up bridge
3. defend bace untill i get enough money and tech.
4. send spy to make chrono unit
5. send air unit and use superweapon to take off AI defence line
6. C4 the CY by any means necessary.

It takes soooo long time so I use cheat script.

U should change this. Seriously

In your playthrough, you faced 3 Yuri AIs, which can be quite challenging in this mod.
Originally, it was designed for 1 Yuri opponent, though you can increase the amount for a hardcore experience.

The AI uses various cheats, tweaks, and hacks to make conquering it a formidable challenge.
To accommodate different skill levels, lower difficulty settings limit the AI's capabilities.

Through extensive testing (hundreds of hours), I've discovered strategies to overcome the AI.
I'm not sure whether to share these strategies to avoid spoilers.


For instance, in a 2 vs 2 scenario (player+ally vs 2 brutal AI), you can win within a hour,
depending on factors like the map, resources, and randomness ofcourse.

Taking your feedback into account, I might optimize lower difficulty settings to shorten matches.
However, I aim to maintain brutal AI as a real challenge, introducing additional options like subterranean units,
invisible bases, and more.

In summary, lower difficulty AI has certain tweaks, hacks, and options disabled,
such as unit and building cloning up to a certain point. Feel free to give it a try!

Yeah, I checked cpu's money through cheat engine table(over 3 million dollar). I think it needs to tweak a victory requirment. Just as your video, If player got specific unit or tech, that game should go well. But on the other hand, player cant get a unit or tech, player must get a breakthrough which not affected by randomness. For exampe, wave system(just like tower defence game) or time limit to survive.

I know this sounds offened, but I am being honest for develop your mod. Thx

Edit: i took hundreds of creates during game(using spawn goodie creates mod in original RA2), but over around 100 creats It only spawns money creates.

I'm glad you're sharing your ideas! I will think about it, It wouldn't be easy with this engine limitation, but who knows.

When you have a lot of units (I don't remember the exact value, if I remind myself ill edit this post) you will no longer get any other bonuses than cash. It's hardcoded in engine and no Ares or Phobos fixes it.

Fixed the issue when AI was instantly rebuilding Yuri's Citadel.

That's why I can't get new tech! Lol. Anyway, at least delete the base defence cap, I think. For game play skill issue :)

Sure, put this file in your game main folder.

You can also edit it as you like :)

It has already disabled limits, i mean, set to 999. It comes from the latest 0.7.65 version.

In the future there will be optionsbf.ini for players that wants to customise their experience.
