Hello Monaldinio, can you tell me what difference there is between your mod and the 'planetfall' mod. It seems both mods are trying to achieve the same thing: recreating Alpha centauri in civ 4.
Conflict on Chiron is a mod of Planetfall. That's why they appear similar. I'll leave it with Monaldinio to explain his specific changes if he's still around here...

The error you mentioned , may occur
- wrong name of the Mod folder
Should be "Conflict on Chiron v3.3 Beta"
- incorrect instalation path

Please turn of that Feature!
Single Player >> Custom Game >> Options >> No Solar Activity
