Half-Life: ReSrced is a mod for Half-Life, Opposing Force and Blue Shift that gives the game HD textures upscaled from the original low-res textures using advanced AI-powered software. Combined with detail textures and support for a variety of HD model packs for Half-Life and its expansion packs, ReSrced makes the classic game look sharp and modern, while keeping true to the original aesthetic.

This is a great foundation, but has a lot of issues. As TinPot64 said, some of the textures, especially with finer details like text, computer or mechanical parts, nuts and bolts or screws, etc need to be cleaned up in Photoshop because they are distorted. There are also a lot of texture misalignments that are easy to spot. Everything else looks great.

I really like this mod because it's the only "HD Half-Life Mod" that is actually good and just adds what it needed, a texture overhaul, and not those out of place realistic 4k pngs people grab from google, just very greatly upscaled image (besides some) which doesn't change anything in a big way.
Now what i don't like is that some textures are very poorly upscaled and could've used at least the minimal polishing to make them look good and not out of place (for example the text on the vending machines) and that it requires a whole set up to get it working which is plain lazy off the developer of not actually compiling the mod and making us manually do it for him.
Overall the mode is great but the serious lack of polishing in some parts and the need to compile the mod yourself really trows off the whole experience.

Good thing as a proof of concept. But actually not much of real improvements. Technically game still has almost the same look. Also because it's the result of automatical image processing, there are a lot of different flaws which can be eliminated only by manual editing of textures. So for really good results much more work is required...

pretty good idea, good textures, but buggy controls

So cool! It trule stands out and it has a lot of quality

only for xash, bad

HL 1 has more mods (or at least more that concern me) than HL Source but doesn't have all that HD widescreen support nor does it have those nice textures for the environment.

Unfortunately, this mod does not completely cover all textures (examples: The button that reactivates holograms in the hazard course; OR more important ones: some grills from elevators).

Still, very good mod.

Pictures don't do it justice because you need to play it to feel it (i was pretty skeptic at first too, specially when i read comments that more people were sharing my idea: the graphics look the same, well, not once you are jacked in!).

I'm also having a hard time finding the perfect gamma ballance.

But besides those, an impecable mod. Nice job!

esta chido

wtf i need to say, is good
