What a wonderful demo! I've played it through.. Very nice mapping. The texture choices are fantastic and same goes for your own custom textures the little custom code additions are also very nice.
If there would be anything negative to say at all then that your sound edits aren't that great.

And some doors were to large for my liking. Perhaps shorten the cutscene with Freeman in front of the test chamber people don't need to hear the entire scientist script.
Eventually add a little more ammo in the first levels and maybe 1 or 2 med packs more the later levels are fine regarding those 2 things.
Anyway..
That's a very solid mod you've got here. Really a great reference for hl1 it feels exactly like it. I'm looking forward for the final release. Awesome work.
Nice Long demo, Loved it all, I even forgot that this was a mod, felt more like an expansion pack, witch is Great, I was rather happy with this and when I got right to the end, and saw "to be continued" i was like, "That was excellent" and It was, Very solid, nothing confusing although ONE thing, the breakable mirror should be obvious, I tried to break them all before I found the right one, but the Right clues were around, I loved this, and I am looking forward to the Complete Version
