1 - Although there have been rare cases of a revolver with a silencers attached, they were merely oddities. A long range scope is more realistic and turns the Sw629 into a budget sniper.
2 - The drone was really cumbersome to use and sometimes doesn't even work on certain maps. We hope the Spycam would prove much more useful. Press A or D to rotate the camera around and mousescroll to zoom in or out.
3 - A new scoreboard better designed for HS with info like player roles and killstreaks displayed. End round stats and Achievements are added in merely for more fun.
4 - After the 3rd consecutive kill, the player gets a bounty over his head and it increases by $50 for every kill that follows. The higher the killstreak, the higher the bounty and whoever kills that player gets the bounty. Killstreaks are reset every round to mitigate the spread of too much funds.
5 - Some effects in multiplayer tend to bug out because the codes for these are server-side. 'hs_multiplayer' is off by default but automatically turns on when the game detects more than one human player present. Can be overrided by typing 'hs_multiplayer 0' in the console.
6 - Just another fun idea we came up with to make playing as the VIP more interesting. Also the addons store is open to the VIP so you can put attachments to your pistol however you like.
7 - It's still not perfect but you can now definitely hit someone on prone.
8 - Back then we teased a dismemberment feature where arms and legs were cut off. Well, the system never made the deadline but we were able to do beheadings instead. This depends on the weapon you're using. Pistol caliber weapons like SMGs cannot sever heads. Shotguns only on close range. Assault rifles have a small chance with AUG and SCAR-H having slightly higher probabilities than others. The RPD severs heads more frequently but sniper rifles and the Revolver will blow heads off every time.
9 - In answer to requests, the flashlight is back. Also it kinda sucks having to go to a dark spot without nightvision. The flashlight is also much brighter. Activated by pressing N and works when you don't have nightvision goggles.
10 - Dodge is now more intuitive but we sacrificed jumping sideways and backwards.
11 - Giving Supports some love since they're seldom picked. We concentrated around what Supports are best at: Toughness.
12 - Quick-stab for Medics now only works when an enemy player is within stabbing-reach. Otherwise they will kick when you press F. The kick also has a slightly longer reach than the quick-stab so you might want to keep that in mind.
13 - Now you can use kick for getting teammates out of the way. You can also save them by kicking them out of the line of fire or do the opposite if you're feeling like a jerk.
14 - You can pick up weapons by aiming at them and pressing G and it has faily decent range. However, I couldn't put an onscreen prompt without making the game crawl so it can be tricky since there's no crosshair. Still, the old way standing over the weapon and pressing G still works.
15 - I honestly think I fixed this early on but one time the attachments disappeared or did I just pick up a different weapon? Whatever it is I got lazy retesting it again so hopefully it's fixed.
16 - This is the reason why sometimes we get a weapon with attachments on them already for no apparent reason. Weapons have entity IDs in game and it's these IDs that I record to know which weapons have which addons. As the game gets longer the IDs get reused and if they're not reset we get a different weapon with attachments on it already.
17 - These are freebies when buying weapons that your player role is proficient in. These are mostly just extra mags and extended mags. For example, if you buy any assault rifle as Rifleman you'll always get an extra magazine free.
18 - Syntax: "hs_fx_particles <command> <0|1>"
Commands available:
* armorgibs - gibs when armor and helmet is destroyed
* blood - extra blood effects
* casings - spent shells when shooting, inlcudes MG ammo links
* debris - debris from bullet hits and broken doors
* holes - holes made by bullet
* mags - spent mags when reloading
* smoke - smoke from bullet hits
* water - water splashes from bullets and explosions
The value of debris also doubles as the count for how much debris is produced with each shot. For grenades the value is multiplied by 3 for each explosion.
19 - Syntax: "hs_fx_lights <command> <0|1>"
Commands available:
* explosions - light from grenade explosions
* muzzleflash - light from gun when shooting
* lambeam - laser beam from LAM addons
* tracers - bullet tracers
20 - Syntax: "hs_hud <command> <0|1>"
Commands available:
* bartime - Progress bar like in grenade cooking or bleedout
* hitmarker - on screen indicator when you hit an enemy
* killfeed - Logs of kills, who died, who's the killer and what weapon was used
* staminabar - Those vertical white sticks that appear when you sprint
* textchat - Radio commands also appear in text
21 - Bound on F5. There's nothing sophisticated about this command. It just rebuys all of the addons you last purchased, it doesn't even check if it's the same gun. So you'll buy an AK, put reflex, suppressor and AP rounds on it, die, then buy an SR3M, hit 'rebuy2' and get the same 3 addons.
22 - Press H to make bots walk slowly. Also disables most of their vocal reactions like grenade and sniper warnings. Pretty useful when chasing a Medic for a heal. Turn off by pressing H again.
23 - This controls the mouse sensitivity on Hold Breath, that thing when you're scoped with a sniper and you press down shift and your player exhales...

Hey man! Thank you for playing! The mod was a real team effort, my teammates are just the quiet types but the mod wouldn't be this great without any one of us.
A patch is in the works and will be released soon before I go on a break from modding. Unfortunately, we won't be able to fix some of the things you mentioned.
1. I think we forgot to fix the mapcycle.txt. All the maps that are listed there doesn't exist in the client. We'll include a fix in the patch or you can list the maps yourself.
2-3. This might be a hardware issue. HS is designed to run on OpenGL 32-bit color. It is important to use OpenGL as the renderer because we're using Metahook, which does not run on any other renderer. Metahook is needed for the custom UI. If you change the renderer, you will not be able run HS, you'll get a 'Metadata file missing' error. Sorry about that.
4. I'll look into the dead bodies collision plugin. New weapons are doable but pretty hard for now. There's lot to figure out in my spaghetti code and we can't add too many or it will affect stability. There is a sort of TDM mode but it doesn't remove map objectives so it's not straight up DM. I'll think about it but honestly it's not priority so it might take some time to implement.
Anyway, thank you for commenting! I like to hear what you guys think of the mod and any suggestions you come up with. We can't promise implementing them all but we do consider all of them. Some of them just takes a long time to implement so if I don't say yes it doesn't mean I've forgotten all about it. We might just surprise you one day...

Hey there I got a problem after I changed my video settings when I changed it to widescreen cause the resolution is to low the game crashed and says metadeta damaged
Don't worry I fixed it I deleted cstrike settings in regedit cause I remembered I could override the settings there.
I figured things out and the only problem i enciuntered is walking and strafing the control in walking is kind of klunky and shift+a or d for leaning is hard hope that change.
but OVERALL MOD IS 11/10 BEST MOD just a bit more optimization and everything's gonna be fine I hope I have money to give but I don't have bank account just my wallet so all ai can do is. Godbless your path coder and may the light of the gods bless you.

if you're talking about ragdolls that are in the metahooksv, it's pretty much impossible, goldsrc is never capable of ragdolls, metahooksv plugins don't work on this version of metahook, installing metahooksv on hellstrike isn't gonna work either, because the build number of this cs 1.6 isn't compatible with metahooksv. metahooksv is a different renderer that is better than the default goldsrc renderer.

use metarenderer shaders for bloom, it's not too bright/saturated looking.
