Mod about scientist Ravil Unisovich, employed G-man for dangerous and hard job for saving world from new disaster. Little evil Snarks want to capture the world, Ravil gone stop them and destroy. Destroy everything. >)
This was a pretty fun mod. It was well translated, which made things straightforward for me. The puzzles were weird, but not difficult. The level design was interesting and some of the new weapons were pretty cool. While the story didn't make any sense to me, it was still fun. This is a great Half-Life mod as long as you don't take it seriously.

Ispitatel is a impressive mod for 2003, The mod which gained 3 other follow-up mods is quite great.
The mod is hard, I'll give it that but the mapping and the length of the mod gives a first mod attempt appeal that will bring in other players.
Story is interesting, but realization is a bit strange. I enjoyed it anyway :)
This is one of those one trick ponies, it has a iconic opening, but subsequently turns into a rather dull corridoor simulator, before we make it to the surface which is rather big and uh, noisy and choatic. Without any good level design we see the end.
The second one is not much of a improvement. It follows the traditional scene where things go wrong (but for the teleporation reason again), we get to see some combat and a bit of exploration.
The problem is that the dialogue at the start and end is in Russian so we don't know whats going on, and all we can go on is the gameplay and it's nothing to praise.
The third game is a demo, it seems that most of the files associated with it was lost and this is what we got, they had planned a total conversion. They really can't get a break can they.
