why is it a .zip?
Can't you upload as valve pack?
It's a VPK file, inside a ZIP file. I zipped it up to reduce the download size by over two thirds :D
why not RAR
I generally think a zip is better, just easier to handle IMO.
Yeah, because as a prime example, check out the first post, just think how many people don't know what a rar is. I use 7zip so I always have to chose zip instead of explaining how to open a .7z lol.
