We're still considering what weapon systems can be activated. This turret is about 200 meters in diameter from the tip of the barrel to the back of the turret and the ammunition would be enormous and they would probably wipe out the whole map if fired..

The largest turrets are designed for space battle and orbital bombardment and may not be fit to be fired in such short distances as the map, so its a maybe.

Well ok :p
However a railgun could be considered as artillery, because it has very low rate of fire and a very very very long range. So considering it as artillery (with arty computer, GPS targeting, min range etc...) could be a way to balance it...
Anyway if it has enough firepower to blow everything up in a 20km radius, maybe it would better stay inert ;p

I did some raw calculations and the kinetic energy of the shot could be equivalent of a 50 megaton nuke.

What about when the Dragon is fully operational a countdown begins? During this countdown the Dragon fabricates ammunition for these weapons. At the end it fires a salvo into orbit, figuratively taking out the opposing salvage companies space deployment barge/ space vessel. Such could be the end-game stretch.

A possibility for sure. The end game is still in very fluid form as the lore and design is constantly evolving. I personally am all for multiple endings depending on what objectives teams have fulfilled and what they have failed.

For a change I've been working on the Dragon ship again and progress is looking good. Heres a peek at the huge railgun-ish turret with more detail on it.
