This mod's idea is to bring Mortal Kombat Universe in a whole different way to Medieval Total War 2, implementing Total War mechanics to Mortal Kombat, and having huge battles instead of individual combats.
Hello, two years ago I announced that I would take a break on this mod and that I foccus on my studies, I also said that this project was not dead.
Well I have some news for you, indeed this mod is not dead and I'm planning a come back, in fact I will start by re-doing all the assets I had already done, since most of them have bad rigging (the arms or the back didn't look good with the MTW2 animations) and also have texture problems. I will fix this, and keep with the progress on the other factions as well. I do plan to add more stuff from the rest of the original MK timeline too so get ready.
That said, I will not start just yet, I'm finishing my last year of studies, and once I do, I'll create a Discord channel where I will be posting all the new fresh stuff and you'll be able to give me your thoughts about everything.
But until that time comes, I'm willing to hear any of your ideas or thoughts of what would you want this mod to be, if anyone wants to recommend me a MK comic or stuff like that, I'd love to get some ideas for the mod and expand it.

I started this project 5 years ago now, and haven't updated it in years, I guess you could consider it's dead for now, although I do have full intention in start again from scratch with better models, better rigging and more content. I can't nor want to give any dates though since I have no idea. But I will eventually come back to it, maybe on a different game engine too.
I have often thought how Outworld and the MK setting would be well suited to so many game types beyond just fighting and this looks to be awesome.

I am honestly fully on board with this idea. I really do think that this would be so kool (I know cool has a c but I'm talking about mk) to see all the different factions and units that you come up with. I know the realms thing might be hard but just make them into continents and say their realms and people should be fine with it. I am very eager to see the final product and I hope it gose well.

Will kharacters like Ermac, Reptile and Smoke be like Generals in the Game. Also I know you said that it's mostly based on Deception but will there be Osh-Tekks as a Unit or Kotal as General? Either way the mod looks awesome.
Ermac, Reptile and Smoke, like every other character will be generals on the campaign as you said, I'm not sure if making them have their own bodyguards or let them be solo units, that's one thing I haven't decided yet. And about the Osh-Tekks and Kotal, I don't think I'll add them on the mod, at least for now, but who knows, I might change my mind in some time and add them, thanks for commenting!
