MP1 animations port to MP2. It will include slight reskin of a main character and 2 moveset variants: character with vanilla animations and one with animations from KungFu3.0 mod. All original animations are the property of Kenneth Yeung, Remedy Entertainment.
Hey, I'm sorry to have keep you waiting. Too much working last time. I've finished some of fixes and ported all animations for combined moveset.
Quick symmary of v0.8 beta release:
- enemy shooting animation added;
- 3 new mobster's with 5 texture set each;
- combined moveset implemented.
There's 2 types of dodges and shootdodges for each weapon type (handguns and two-handed guns):
- from stand - to perfrom you need to quick tap direction button and shootdodge/dodge button;
- combat - during movement.
As you can see, animations not perfect. Max's shoulders, two-handed weapons and Mona's *khm* need's reposition, jacket in most moves go through body mesh. Some of the animations disabled. New skins needs adding specular maps, configuring materials, better texturing. Yeah, I know. So please be patient, vanilla moveset should wait. I dont know for now, will it be 0.9 release or just quick updates, but we'll see it later.

Hi there, I wanted to work on MP2's modding tools and especially mapping, but I was wondering if there is a way to open the official levels/maps of Max Payne? I know that MaxEd won't open "ldb" but is there a way to convert them into "lvl" or any source maps exist?
Hello. No way you can unpack official levels. At least if you dont know some programmers that can assist you with.
If you mean not being able to get them out of MP's files, I did unpack them but they are all in "ldb" format. I wanted to know if I can open them in any way.
Dem modders man. If tgey edditing animations and stuff, then they already extracted levels from "MP's files". No u cant
The problem with the animation is the shoulders, max shoulders seems to be chill pose, not tight
It's because MP1 skeleton doesn't have shoulders bones. I will fix this, but not before I port every animation to MP2.
and one more thing, mona breast seems to be weird when shhoting
