This mod improves the Zero Hour game by fixing almost all bugs in the game, with tons of balances, improved AI, and many enhanced features. There are also additional stuffs for all factions and sub-factions including Civilians. This mod also including playable Boss General with fully functional AI.

I played it, but the laser generals' rangers, missile defenders, commanches, etc doesn't use a laser..

not all laser general units are equipped with laser weapons. some starts with laser while some others requires upgrade, and there are still some others that don't use lasers at all.

but because you said laser ranger doesn't use laser weapon, then there is something wrong with your mod installation. check if you have installed the mod properly.

Finally a new version one of the best mods ! I hope this is not the last update because I'm really looking forward to campaign mode from both games *like in ProGen mod*. Also I hope to be restored boss generals USA and GLA.

campaign revamp is still in our to-do list along with other things, so yeah, this will not be our last release. but the other boss generals had to be scrapped because of the engine limitations such as the number of faction can have AI.

while this mod has similar premises to ProGen, this mod is not ProGen anyway. let ProGen have boss generals their own way. there are actually many reasons why we decided to scrap the whole idea, them not having skirmish AI is only one of them, so it's not that simple.

two things. first why remove the boss tunnel network turret, second when will you fix the boss ai in skirmish?

Boss tunnel turret was removed because it overlaps much with the gattling cannons.
Also the boss AI working fine in skirmish, if they don't do anything then probably you're playing in an unsupported/custom map.

you probably did not installed the mod properly. try to place the mod files in the correct place and make sure there is no custom scripts installed (remove the Scripts folder).

thanks its working now, it was just the scripts folder. but i want to talk too you about the tunnel turret what do you mean it overlaps the gatling turret. i also want to mention that i think boss hackers should just require a warfactury and an airfield rather than a nuke because the ai boss gets beaten rather easy beacuse of the lack of resources compared to others plus the other chiness generals got a building to theyre hackers which leang doesnt, her hackers are in general more vulnerable. and i just want to say i love your mod, its the only on i got and i feel like its the only true mod for generals so thanks.

He means the Gattling Cannon already fulfills the same role as the Tunnel's turret, anti-infantry defense, and is much better at that role, so the tunnel turret is not needed.

Hi, I'm just wondering about something. I liked the old music from the game, as well as the old picture. Would it be bad if I were to keep the old Install_Final.bmp file? Also, would that Change the music back as well?

Install_Final.bmp is just a picture so changing it will not affect the mod or game in any way. There's no simple way to add back the old songs though.

Is there anything wrong with airforce general(Bot)? My airforce general builds many of their raptors, but their raptors do nothing. They target something and then suddenly stop in front of enemy base.

I can't get it to work, I did all the instruction in the readme and how to do a clean instal. still does not work, I did download a different mod called 'Little Patch' it worked perfectly and I didnt need Bibber's fixed UC luanchers, to play the game. I have purchased the game with origin. I had the original CD version but the disk broke :(

Why is the Campaign no longer available? In the last version I've played it was.
It's a pity that this mod isn't compatible with 1.06 which was great (even when I don't agree with all the changes there). I especially like how they handled the US-Pathfinders.

Btw: was something done with the AI? It seems to be a lot weaker than before (I don't think that's an installation issue). At least from what I can remember it attacked and rushed more effectively in earlier versions. Sometimes they even have dozens of units (tanks) in their base and don't use them.

Hello n5p29,

I believe you did mention why you scrap out the creation of other bosses compare to progen mod tht creates 3 bosses for each main faction. That is about the AI limitations that you may encounter upon pursuing the idea..

This does mean that when you further add subfactions, this will result in not able to create the AI scripts for newly created generals? Is that one of the reasons?

Well.. I just want to know why if there are other reasons.. I'm sorry for asking but i just want to confirm that from you..

only effectively 12 unique factions can have functional AI, so that includes only three vanilla factions and the 9 generals. the 13th AI slot for boss general were possible to be added through a found loophole that allows it to be possible. even so it only works for NProject Mod maps and not for other custom maps, not without editing the map in certain way beforehand at least.

that's why I don't think there will be any additional generals added. even the seemingly working 15 generals shockwave mod actually has their own issues on their end.
