There is a strange problem with the Germans not using the mg34 on some levels. However, I do Adore what your doing. And hoping to see more versions.
It depends what kind of MG34 you are talking about.
I've replaced some static MG42's with MG34 and Germans are using those just fine.
If you've meant deployable MG34(the one you can pick up), these would require scripting for AI to deploy them, or rework, so they could be fired undeployed. Unfortunately I don't have plans to do neither.
I’m so damn sorry it took this long to reply. I mean the static placed mg34s like on Burnsville. The Germans will use the 42s fine. But the 34s not exactly.
I play the game at most up to date version(I have it on Steam) without any other mods and I don't have issues like that.
Only help I can give is that you may have other mods installed in uo or main folder and those cause compatibility issues.

It sounds like a good idea even for some other mods, but I won't do it, at least not any time soon.
Hovewer you can play them together by loading real weapons UO prior to SP Improved, although this way you won't get any new weapons, but you will still get all new skins, sounds and models of already existing weapons.
To load real weapons first place file ZRealWeaponsUO3.5.pk3 into same folder as sp_improved_by_jouklik_1.1.pk3 and rename ZRealWeaponsUO3.5.pk3 to r_ZRealWeaponsUO3.5.pk3
