If you haven’t played 2007’s most immersive and atmospheric shooter, or you’re back for replay, this mod is for you. This is the world of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. like you’ve never seen before, with updated graphics and added functionality that don’t change the original story or gameplay. The game hasn’t been changed beyond recognition, but rather enhanced while preserving the core elements that made it the unique experience it is.
This mod makes an already incredible game even better. You by far Mr. Pavel have my thanks as well as everybody elses' in the community.

I've been playing for 14 hours, I'm almost beating the game in the Master difficulty and the Food/Starvation icon appeared only once in the game. AND IT WAS GREEN. Dark Valley seems a walk in the park since Bandits are totally blind. When you put the SEVA Suit on, the very same warning sound from the HEV Suit from Half-Life plays "Automatic medical systems engaged" This was RIDICULOUS. It broke up immersion. Other minor letdown include: 9x39 ammunition found easily, the Repair kit is awkward and confusing to use.
This Mod is worth a try, but it will disappoint the hardcore S.T.A.L.K.E.R. fan as it makes the gameplay way too easy.

Decided to give this a game another shot and luckily I stumbled across this mod before playing. Thank you so much for all your hardwork, the game is absolutely incredible now!!

Absolutely amazing! Visually stunning, it works perfectly, and literally fixed everything I wanted fixed.
Once you get the mod to work, anything holding Shadow of Chernobyl back will be alleviated, Bugs are fixed, graphics are improved, and Shadow of Chernobyl now feels like a complete experience. This is THE improvement mod for Stalker. Anyone would be a fool to not download Stalker complete.
This mod was very good you could really see the different in graphics from the rain effects to the updated detail on the many guns in the zone.
But it was not just a good mod but a stable one having no CTDs through the whole game i think this is one of the best S.T.A.L.K.E.R. SOC mods out there.
