Stargate : La Releve ("The Relief" in english) is a French mod developed both on BF2 and BF2142 engine. We do not promote our mod a lot, so, maybe, you don't know it, but we are working on it since BF42 was released. Our mod will allow players to play Taur'i and Goa'uld. Our first priority is to change totally the BF2 gameplay. So don't worry, Stargate: The Relief is everything except a Bf2 clone. It will be a multiplayer mod. Any character from the TV show will be include, only soldiers and SG member teams, Goa'uld and Jaffa. We do that because it’s a multiplayer mod. We are working hard to create a very immersive gameplay, giving you the feeling to be in the TV show, to take part of the war between Goa'uld and Taur'i.

Its getting crashed....... Anyone have fixed it....?????
You can definitely play this in the BF2 vanilla mod, at least my original copy, which I'd backed up 10 years ago. It was created by Hayabusa while he was experimenting with some different themes from his usual maps for his Mercenaries mod. This was also originally created for use in the Mercs mod, but it always also worked in BF2 and probably the MCC mod as well.
I beta tested this way back in 2008/9 (can't remember exactly when). He also modded one of his other maps called Desert Fort adding new models for the tanks, APC's and jeeps called Battlebugs and which wouldn't look out of place in this mod. That map was never released to my knowledge but I do have a working version of it.
I have recently tried to contact Hayabusa to ask permission to upload the map to all of the main sites that host BF2 maps (GAU-Games, ModDB, Game Banana, Gamefront and the Night Watch Milita map archive. I've not heard from him yet :(
