Steamlands is a steampunk total conversion mod for the game Rusted Warfare RTS, featuring over 40+ units ranging from land forces, air forces and navy, each having its own quirks and special abilities. Enhanced AI will make up a tough challenge on offline and multiplayer. Scrap ruins around the map to gather extra resources. Stunning FXs and Day and Night cycle. Some custom maps that you can play on, and possibly a full campaign with lore on the future.

All buildings (expect walls) require sustained energy to function, each building consumes a amount of energy per second, your starting Steamtown already generates some energy so you don't need to worry about energy too much on the begining. To generate energy you build Cog Generators or more Steamtowns, you must keep the energy production higher than energy demand.
This allows a sort of 'vertical movement' for aircrafts, you can control aircrafts height which allows more strategy and interaction with units. Eg: raising a aircraft's altitude above the altitude range of a AA battery to avoid damage.
The power radius system is like a network, you can only build within the radius of a building/unit that can produce power, that is Steamtowns, Power Towers and MCVs. Buildings still function as normal if the power source nearby has be destroyed after the buildings finished being built.
