Synth Hunter mod for Fallout 4

No one knows exactly where the rumor came from, but its said that a former BOS Scribe known as "Dr. Armitage" put themselves to the task of addressing the problem of synth replacements, and created the means for stopping this invasion of humanity. Perhaps they got too close to succeeding, and were silenced or killed? Whether this is true or not, could you imagine what might happen if humans could defend themselves against this invisible enemy...?

Location: Armitage's blueprints can be found on a desk, deep in the ruined halls of HalluciGen. With these schematics, you will be able to create a pair of Synth Hunter glasses at any chem station.

Effects: While wearing the glasses, if the target you are aiming at is a synth, they will be marked with a strange glow (Detect Life effect). Seeing exactly what NPCs are or are not Synths is technically a spoiler, but this mod was made to facilitate a They Live sort of play through, where a character ends up in the position to take decisive measures concerning Synths.

NOTE: This mod is still in testing. All synths have been given a special tag which enables this scan to work, and I have not yet found any synths which could not be scanned. However there may be some I missed. If you do find any, please let me know in the comments, and I will update the mod.

Troubleshooting: If you are having trouble with the quest portion, you can use the following console commands:
1. Open the console with ~ and type the following:
help synthhunter 4
3. Identify the ID of the quest (the first two characters will be unique to your install, but will be followed by 019778)
4. To ensure the quest has started, type:
setstage xx019778 10
4. Or to skip the investigation and complete the quest, type:
setstage xx019778 20
