HAPPY BIRTHDAY, IC! ❤ This massive update contains five new stock animals, one model remake, two new maps, and a vast swathe of balance changes as well as more bug fixes.
TELLURIAN 2.10 CHANGELOG:
- Five new stocks added!
- The Arapaima, a fish with Deflection Armour(!?)
- The Salamander, a very cute small ranged stock.
- The Sea Snake, a fast low to mid-level swimming base that also has Poison Bite on its head.
- The Wobbegong, a bizarre-looking mid-level shark with Camouflage.
- The Wombat, a feisty little friend with Charge Attack, Digging, and melee damage on its torso.
- One old friend remodelled!
-The Pistol Shrimp has been done justice at last.
NEW MAPS:
- Carnegiella Glade has been reborn as Glades! 2v2 in the swamp!
- Deadlock is getting an official release! It's a mental 1v1 where players spawn literally in the same base.
BUG FIXES:
- Lammergeier, Albatross and Hornbill all modified. No more crashes with Velvet Worm! In fact, no combinations should cause IC to crash in army builder anymore.
- MANY MANY MANY maps' music triggers fixed.
- Official Relic map pack maps will no longer have duplicates in map selection!
BALANCE TWEAKS:
- Loner damage reduction reduced; was formerly 0.25x multiplier to all incoming damage. Is now 0.9x for small creatures, up to 0.4x for size 10s.
- Disorienting Barbs radius increased from 4 to 10. Duration increased from 64 ticks to 80 ticks.
- Quill burst base radius increased from 7m to 10m. Damage marginally increased at levels 1, 2, 3 and 4.
- Hench heal range slashed from 27.5m to 20m; rate decreased from 5hp/s to 4hp/s.
- Deflect chance reduced to 20% at every size (formerly went from 25% to 30%, increasing with size). Price slightly reduced.
- Charge attack now minimum level 2.
- Short ranged (direct range) attacks now cost a little less power. This means short-range stocks like Cuttlefish (and now Poison Frog) should be more viable.
- Sonic power slightly tweaked, shouldn't be too noticeable. Sonic elec cost multiplier reduced from 2.3 to 2.0.
- Build time equation tweaked to flatten the intra-level curves; this means spam will build more slowly, but high power units build at the same rate. - Rock and water projectile speed increased from 35 to 42.
STOCK TWEAKS:
- Poison Frog: HP very slightly down, range distance down, damage up.
- Killer Whale: HP down, ranged damage up.
- Dolphin: Damage scaling up, melee and HP slightly down. Speed slightly increased on tail.
- Sperm Whale: Damage up.
- Pistol Shrimp: Attack rate down.
- Spitting Spider: Damage up.
- Spitting Cobra: HP up, defense slightly up.
- Chimpanzee: Range scaling up.
- Archerfish: Range scaling up. Speed up.
- Beluga: Range up, range scaling up.
- Lammergeier: Range scaling up.
- Alligator: Immunity removed.
- Cuttlefish: Damage up.
- Hammerhead: Sight radius increased to 30.
- Camel: HP scaling slightly reduced.
