The Dance Macabre Modification adds the Harlequins as a new playable race to your Dawn of War: Soulstorm 1.20 game. The Harlequins are a mysterious faction of the Eldar race who combine war with theater in their eternal quest to purge chaos and keep safe the webways.

Know Issues (that we will not address....)
1] TEXTURES: a) We are missing complete texturing for buildings b) And the heads of DJs.
3] AE: Structures' build volumes are now very big. It is OK for so that vehicles CAN pass through. But perhaps we have to reconsider, should any of you find it too much.

Well, we do have a schedule, but yeah the idea is to finish as much as we can - while working on new projects as well :)
Are you planning do something with the Vostroyans mod? It´s one of the most broken there.

You guys should try and finish the Farsight enclaves mod,the mod is almost finished and the guy who made it just dissapeared.The only things missing from the mod are the ai and team colors

But yeah, the beta is very neat :)
There are not plans for Tau Farsight Enclaves at the moment.
For now, it is Ultramarines and Salamanders, and then AdMech and TSons.
Beyond that, I'd say that I am VERY interesting in finishing the Tau :) But remember, we are merely 3-4 guys actually coding...
And only one doing the art. ;)

this version is beyond words. thank you for the team who made this. now harlequins are now very formidable but i think it is still not op. its that they are just hard to master but enjoyable to play with and annoying to fight against. best troll faction.

As for not OP... Man, after their 2nd holo (infantry) research, the team of Shadow Dancers can even best the Assault Termies (under specific circumstances)!
And the whole army in general is really powerful.
Note also that the last Tier research upgrades the army even further. :)
well they are an assault faction burst damage is their strategy but cannot sustain and can be hard countered by anti vehicle weapons, aoe damage and attrition. but loving the new webway ability of the great harlequin. it makes the troupe useful and loving the kinder surprise during engagements very lore like. well against the witchhunters they are just on par in my opinion.
If that is the case, then I am REALLY glad! WH is indeed a monumental mod, and I like it's balance, so if Harleys are somewhere close there, then that is a success...!

Am I the only player who can't see a new content and textures' fixes in this version? I've just downloaded the mod and haven't found any changes from Beta 1 except for HQ model and some new researchs. What am I doing wrong?
Well, there were only a few art changes and new content.
The main changes were fixes, design additions, refinement and of course new voices. AI is also updated.
Man, do not underestimate those changes.

We want to "finish" our mods, so those that are closer to conclusion are the best candidates.

Are the issues that are not going to be addressed is it because lack of people working on it, art work and such or is it because they are to complex to fix?
