This is an unofficial CONTINUATION for Third Age Total War, the classical Lord of the Rings Medieval 2 mod discontinued many years ago. It adds lots of new features, changes some existing ones and add many bug fixes. This unofficial release has no link to the original TATW mod creator, its a independent project. Though it uses the original mod as basis, and all credits are given to its original creators.

Compared to 3.2, this mod really ties in a lot of the movie visuals and is generally a busier experience. I really like it and prefer it.

Was curious if there was any plans on fixing some of the creature units? Been doing extensive research into ctd due to ents(seems at least partly a graphics glitch because it's when I turn to look at them that this happens usually). Only managed a couple battles without a ctd with an ent unit. Beornlings, wolves and others I don't seem to have an issue with(despite many other reporting very similar issues overall with the custom units).

There is a creatures fix for 3.2. Twcenter.net

Installing it on 4.7 mod unfortunately breaks it(as expected).

It's hard for me to give up ered luin, lothlorien and the eastern dwarves as factions! It really ties everything in, makes it a far more lively world. So if the unique creatures were fixed it would be a superior version IMO! Either way, great additions and work, great fun for maybe the best mod for any game ever made!
