This mod is a total conversion of the original 1994 game TIE Fighter into X-Wing Alliance. Offering all original 13 campaigns and expansions as well as a completely Reimagined campaign of the first 8 campaigns alongside it. Built upon the X-Wing Alliance Upgrade project, offering fantastic new visuals and even VR support, bringing the game into the modern era.
Simply stunning, so much love and effort has gone into this from the voice acting and briefings to the additional 20 ships, Tie Fighter Classic AND a reimagined version, pretty flawless and polished. Although the install process could be smoother, once I actually bothered to watch the Youtube install tutorial, went smooth as could be.
This is one of my favorite games of all time and I am so thankful that someone out there was willing and able to give this game the modern transformation it deserves. So many details...even down to engine wash damage from large ships if you are too close to the rear!! Mod installed trouble free and Im able to use and fully configure my old Logitech Wingman extreme digital joystick with full use of all of the buttons and throttle slider with no issues whatsoever. THANK YOU SO MUCH to all involved in making this a reality. I'll gladly donate if someone could reply with a link.
