Xenophonia 1
Full VersionThis is an Italian sound pack that requires installer 1C.
Xenophonia makes several factions in the game speak their respective languages instead of accented English. Originally, the goal was to record new audio to allow each faction in the game to speak the medieval form of their respective language, but this soon proved to be a much too ambitious undertaking.
Instead, Xenophonia is a collection of sounds from the translated (localized) versions of Medieval II: Total War. This means that the French speak French, the HRE speaks German, the Italian factions speak Italian, the Russians speak Russian, and the Spanish speak Spanish. In addition, if the Kingdoms expansion is installed, the Aztecs in the original game will speak the Native American accent used in the Kingdoms: Americas campaign.

Loving the images Beiss ;) LOL
Its a real shame. More unique voice acting for each faction would give more character to the game. Shame :(
dead
hey, i´am brazilian, but i could do the portuguese language. Contact me if u r interested!!
Completely doable and a wonderful idea. I could even do Swedish voices if there was such a faction (rebels?). Watching.
Swiss pikemen
Yes, Swedish people are totally from Switzerland
Just saying, DON'T USE RUSSIAN FOR VOICES OF "RUSSIA" FACTION. In actual fact, "Russian, in M2TW terms stands for the Kyivan Rus, who were Ukrainian. Their language would be represented by Old Church Slavonic; a fluent speaker could be found in a Slavic Orthodox Church, if that's any help to you. At a push, the Ukrainian language could be used.
Sorry to be a pain in the neck, just offering my knowledge for you xD
Hey, why soo serious :)?
Rus' people weren't russians or ukrainians or marsian invaders or whatsoever. They were just people of rus'. And spoke old russian (no offence for ukrainians, just a therm).
And, btw, Rus' in vanilla m2 actually stands for Novgorod Republic (we can see that because... it starts with Novgorod!), which used to had it's very own north-western dialect, samely distant from modern russian or ukrainian; soo... we can't say who could sound it pretty well historically accurate.
Considering the fact, HRE doesn't sound Althochdeutsch, England Ænglisc sprǣc, so on, i think, we can survive Rus' sounding russian.
Cuz, what's the hell your problem?
A comeback 11 and a half years in the making
