Beijing, China
“Madame chairman, General Carville is on line 2.”
*click*
“Ben, to what do I owe the pleasure?”
“What are you up to you old fox?”
“Why general Carville, whatever do you mean?”
“I’m talking about the Russian tanks bearing the symbol of the old Soviet Union that just randomly appeared in your naval base near the South China Sea.”
“...”
“Finally ringing any bells?”
“Ah yes, those… well the Russians wanted an opportunity to salvage their military’s reputation after that incident with Ukraine, so I decided to leave the mission of protecting the Asia-Pacific region to one of their Generals on behalf of the Unity League. Afterall, you and your Alliance have been very vocal about our presence in that area.”
“Well maybe if your boys simply stopped harassing their fishermen, the locals wouldn’t be so riled up against you.”
“Careful general… we may be old friends, but as the leader of my nation I will not stand for baseless slander, not even from you.”
“That’s rich coming from you, Tigress. Anyway, we’re getting off topic.”
“The Drakon Division assures me that their logo is purely symbolic and is in no way indicative of their intentions.”
“Drakon Division?”
“That will be their unit's name while they’re working under the Unity League.
“Their leader is simply the old patriotic type, we’re not so foolish as to send actual shady individuals on behalf of the League.”
“I would sure hope not, because if anything happens, we will retaliate.”
“I’m sure you would, but I should remind you, we did win the war you know.”
*click*
“Sigh… I warned you to be careful, Yuri.”
“My apologies, it seems I have underestimated your old friend.”
“It’s unfortunate that we’ve been discovered this early, but this will have no effect on the plan.”
“We are moving on to the next phase, begin your preparations immediately.”
“Right away madame chairman.”
The plot thickens!
Hello, it is update time once again. It’s been a while since the last one (how many times have I said this already) so let’s go to it!
First up we have a new model for the EMP Trooper
Unlike their Hacker brothers in China’s Electronic Warfare division, the EMP trooper deals with threats in a more direct manner. They disable mechanical targets using a more compact version of the ECM tank’s EMP emitter. While they can’t divert missiles, they can fire out of bunkers and transports, making them very versatile.
China EMP troopers finally have their own model made by M.P
Next up, we have a fan favorite returning under a new role:
While the bulk of China’s artillery consist of shell artillery, they do possess a few MLRS systems, the Typhoon is one such system. The Typhoon MLRS is used primarily by commanders under the China EMP and Napalm General and is armed with SHOCK rockets which detonates in an intense electrical explosion that burn the surrounding area and disable mechanical targets.
Typhoon MLRS returns, this time as part of the EMP and Napalm Gen arsenal. And with this, EMP and Napalm Gen’s roster is complete, and updates to its AI can finally be completed, look forward to that in the next version 👍
Finally, we have a better look at the Apocalypse tank showcased in the last update:
The poster child of Soviet Union armor superiority during the Cold War, the Apocalypse has seemingly seen a return into service as part of the Drakon Division. Armed with cannons and missiles, the Apocalypse was designed to fight against any threat, short of naval vessels and nuclear weapons, and win. To this day, military forums are filled with threads about the tank discussing its theoretical capabilities, how it compares to the Chinese Overlord, and outlandish stories such as a planned variant of the tank with rocket engines strapped to the sides that allow it to be launched from a special catapult, and strike anywhere in Europe and America at any time.
That’s all for this update.
“Hang on a minute, the title says Pacific Alliance update, but there’s no new Pacific Alliance stuff at all, what gives?”
You’re absolutely right, unfortunately I haven’t been able to prepare anything PA related this time around, but hopefully next time-
Anyway, till next time!
