Games using a version of the GrimE engine (original or modified) created by Bret Mogilefsky at LucasArts using the Free Software scripting language Lua. It is considered the successor to SCUMM, it is based around characters and objects which interact with each other, on top of pre-rendered backgrounds, but GrimE is a 3D engine.
