FOnline: Ashes of Phoenix is a Fallout MMORPG based on the FOnline engine. It takes you to Phoenix, Arizona, around 2220.
The city miraculously avoided its global destruction during the Great War of 2077, and a well preserved part of its center remained almost completely unnoticed for almost 150 years. Eventually, a rumor speaking of plentiful resources and intact buildings has been spread into the Wasteland. Independent organizations showed up, preparing themselves for an unavoidable conflict with each other, while stronger forces remain hidden, waiting for the situation to evolve and give them the opportunity to achieve their objectives.
You are a Wastelander, coming to Phoenix for food and adventure. Fortunately, factions there are happily accepting extra manpower in their ranks. Make your choice, and join the battle for the city.
Ashes of Phoenix is a PvP oriented game. It encourages players towards cooperation as well as competition. Recently arrived in Arizona, you’ll have the opportunity to choose a faction composed both of Wasteland characters and other players. In its ranks, you will make your way, explore the Wastes, gather resources, craft gear, barter precious items, gain experience and weapon mastery. Then, you’ll be able to gather with your mates, create new active cells into your faction, explore the city and its undergrounds, face terrifying creatures, control resources, use your sense of diplomacy with other factions and defeat your enemies to become the unique master of Phoenix.

All hail AoP, the only mmo you need to play.
After it you cannot get satisfaction from any other game. (thats confirmed)

Good job people ;)
It's out! Yay! But for me not playable atm because of the lags :/
We've solved the lags, but for now the tutorial zone is disabled. Aside from that the game is fully playable though. We're working on fixing bugs and improve the content.
Its maybe my own opinion, but I think it would be the best Fallout-Online game.
Yes, its hard to bring the old fallout feeling back, even more when its Online. (MMORPG Players knows what I mean ><)
But it looks really like a Fallout World. I Hope it will feel the same way ^^.
What I didnt liked in the others FOnlines was that you easily could get amount of good and very strong weapons, same for the armor.
Every dude was wearing the green MKII or what it was called and above it.
the flood of a popular faction vs few to non seems to be likely
I hope it will coming soon. But I already see here big problems.
What we want to do aboout balance to the faction population. In my experience, there was always a Faction who dominated only bsc they got the most people. Where others was just a few.
I really wants to play it with my sister, and we will definitely enjoying it, lets hope it will be hard and bring the old Fallout feeling back ><
Hello! Thanks for your comment.
We can actually very easily close the doors to a faction, preventing any new character to join it for a time. But we want first to observe what players will do on their own. Depending on how it goes, we'll know what to do.
The game balance is really different than other FOnline games you might have played. Being skilled as a player can really make a difference, more than numbers. We also have other measures to encourage small groups to challenge bigger ones, for example PvP rewards that are scaled based on your actions. If you can't shoot anyone because all enemies have already been killed by others, you'll gain less for your participation.
Playing in large groups will be quite difficult actually, because you can't jump right away on your enemies in AoP. Try to guide 50 fighters through such a dangerous place as Phoenix, and you could lose quite a few guys on the way ;)
