nah its fair to say stcop is trash, the smoothing errors, the minced textures and bumpmaps, the laughable xbox huge scaling, the dead frames and reset errors. its not quite taz levels of vasyan cobbled **** but its up there. lots of the models and textures started out as high quality, many from shwm (i.e. battlefield) but got rekt in the process. nevermind slapping like 40 motions into some of the omf files.

you can set hud fov in the weapon config files, just add hud_fov = 0.75 or whatever looks good.

i figured out whats causing it, its shader based scopes, enabling the patch in beefs nvg mcm menu for shader based scopes causes both issues.
if this doesn't get patch you can just disable shader based scopes when using this gun with "sds_enable off" in the console. provided the modded exes binaries are being used. not just shader based scopes.

would you consider porting a couple bas scopes with your addons?
i tried to port just the elcan and march scopes to your sig550 mod without the rest of BaS because the acog looks awful.
i got each ingame and attached without crashes. the model and scope texture works, but the reticule texture is missing despite all the relevant textures being present. not sure how to handle 3d scopes. i'm getting a big blue missing texture box.
