Rise of the Reds – or ROTR for short – improves upon the C&C Generals formula while also adding its own distinct elements to it. Most notably, the mod adds two completely new factions, the tank-heavy Russian Federation and the defence-oriented European Continental Alliance. In addition, the three original factions China, USA and GLA have been greatly expanded and redesigned in a variety of ways, with several new units, buildings, powers and abilities to explore and combine in your in-game tactics.

Hello everyone, today we are introducing you to the first of a few updates on the new tech structures being added and updated into ROTR 😉

Hello everyone!
We are back with the start of an update series on the humble tech structures.
Yes, those things you love to fight over, and cry at the depths of your soul about when your opponent steals them from you.Whilst many of these structures may be familiar to many of you who have been following the project for years, we have never actually made any official renders of them, nor have we ever given them some lore and context about what they are and why they're here.
As such we thought it only prodent to bring you all a few updates giving the humble tech structures the attention and explanations they really deserve.
So, let us begin...
Tech MachineGun Bunker

Equipped with a .50 caliber machine gun, these bunkers allow for a single soldier to man the machine gun with enough protection to avoid stray fire, and enough ammunition to pump several hundred rounds into the enemy before having to be resupplied. These bunkers however — while resilient — are vulnerable to anti-garrison weaponry, making it vital that they have support against such threats.

Tech Guard Post

Typically setup in hastily fortified areas and mountainous terrain, these guard posts are equipped with a .50 caliber machine gun, situated high enough to be able to fire above walls and hills. Like their grounded counterparts however, these posts are vulnerable to anti-garrison weaponry, and must be supported if a faction wishes to use it for an extended period of time.

That's all for now, but we will be back very soon with more about these all important-map defining assets. And, keep your eyes peeled. There will also be a very special announcement at the end of our showcase about the tech structures, that we think you will all love.

Till next time Generals!
