How would World War 2 play out if the Byzantine Empire had never fallen? How would the political landscape of Cold War Europe look if Rome had been recovered? Could the Varangian Guard defeat the Waffen SS?
This mod does not answer any of those questions. Have fun doing whatever you want with the empire.
Features.
Byzantium reborn, made out of Greece, Turkey, Bulgaria and a few nearby islands.
Additional resources/leadership/manpower to put the Empire up to the same strength as the lesser major powers. (They are about as powerful as France or Italy)
A Varangian guard unit. Powerful but expensive.
Byzantium get Greek and Turkish minister/commander pools.
Byzantium gets access to the Prepare for War decision to allow for easier re-conquering of lost territory.
