You assume the role of team leader in the tactical response team of a major city police force. Your work is to plan and carry out tactical entry in barricade and hostage situations with least possible loss of life the desired outcome.
I've been working on replacing the blood particles on and off for some time. It's not entirely done yet but what I'm arriving at is the streams shown here. They are used from high-pressure wounds and the old droplet particles are still used in other cases.
I'm also updating the floor pools so they are more dynamic. Floor pools are created where the streams land on the floor.
Nice! Even though this is a 2D game there are many details that make it realistic, suprisingly enough.
Thanks! In some ways 2D is an enabler as well. Some of the techniques I use I'm only able to do in 2D.
This is brutal. I like it!
Thank you!
Can we even call this 2D? Yeah it's a sidescroller but the blood effects and... pretty much anything looks pretty 3D. I'd call it 2.5D at least :D
You're doing an amazing job there!
Thanks! Yeah I'd call it 2.5D too. Technically everything is 3D except the characters and the weapons (and probably something else that I forgot :P).
And to think i've been here since before the first demo was released.
So proud :')
Thanks for sticking around, you've seen it go through some changes for sure :)
