The issue with the neighbors is fixed now! It shouldn't happen anymore in future demos! ^^

The land enemies -> water issue is something I have on my todo list, and the Frankestein rebalancing is too

If they are already implemented on the mod then you unlock them in the same way as the original ZAMN

Can do but the original sprite is clearly meant for the isometric view which is kinda facing downward at an angle, so they are side view but also inclined downward noticeably if I were to put them back in

No, the older demos are archived.
The last demo from Halloween 2022 is not archived as it's the last public version from now.
I'm working on it after some troubled months so expect a new public demo this year, on Halloween if not sooner

Well ZamnTC is somewhat compatible with GZDoomVR afaik ^^
It has some bugs tho that I need to address to have full support to it , but it is a possibility for sure

I think that may have been fixed in a dev build after this release but I'll double check.
I'm in a sort of hiatus at the moment due to irl stuff needing my urgent attention, but I'll check it when I get back into actively developing this mod

I think those ideas would be better suited for a Evil Dead kind of game. have you seen Evil Dead 2? It has a really good mix of jumpscary horror with goofy and campy humor

The voice of Duke is fantastic but the last line is a little fast I think, and the VA kinda suffers by making a higher pitch at that point.
This looks really promising tho ! And even by just being an initial showcase this is incredible! ^^

You don't need to lower the camera to cut the mushrooms or spikes but if you did it regardless then that might be due becase it behaved that way on zamn or due to the sound of the weapon being effective.

I thought about forcing the camera down but I thought it was too restrictive.

Did you tried the engine that came inside the game folder ?
Or the alternative engine that came inside the LZDoom folder for older spec machines ?

Principalmente uso "GZDoom Builder" para hacer los mapas y "Slade 3" para agregar y manejar todos los assets del mod y el código que ocupa.

Ahora para editar todo esto uso estos programas:
+ Editar Sprites/Texturas:
"Paint.net"

+ Obtener texturas
"Necrofy" o "Zamn Level Editor"

+ Obtener sprites
"Snes9x" + "VLC" + "Paint.net"
(Grabo video en el emulador, luego con VLC saco los cuadros que necesito en imagenes, y los edito con Paint.net)
(Muchas veces uso rips de "spriters-resource.com")

+ Editar Sonidos o Musica
"Audacity"

+ Obtener efectos de sonido
"Zamn Level Editor" + "Snes9x" + "Audacity"
(ZLE para desactivar la musica, OBS para grabar audio/video, Audacity para recortar el audio)

+ Crear Voxeles
"VoxelShop" + "MagicaVoxel"

+ Obtener animaciones de pantalla completa (Avanzado)
"Snes9x" + "SonyVegasPro 13" + "Paint.net" + "Slade 3"
(
- Snes9x para grabar la animacion
- SonyVegasPro 13 para renderizar la animacion en cuadros a 35 cuadros por segundo (la medida de tiempo que ocupa el Doom)
- Paint.net para editar estos cuadros cuando sea necesario
- Slade 3 para finalmente añadir los cuadros y reanimarlos dentro del mod
)

Y eso es principalmente lo que hago ^^

Go for it! ^^
Just rename "ZAMN_MAIN.ipk3" to "ZAMN_MAIN.pk3" and you can load it as a mod whenever it supports GZD 3.7 or newer

Well they are similar in what they want to accomplish but they have both their strong and weak points.

At the moment BuildGDX is the only modern port that can play Build games like "Legend of the 7 Paladins", "Witchaven I/II" and "Tekwar".

Raze focuses only on "Blood","Duke 3D", "Shadow Warrior" and "Redneck Rampage" and is aiming to standarize all of them to work similarly under build.
This is to make possible making mods for this games using ZSCript in a similar way in which mods for all the Doom engine games can be made with ZSCript, so for me Raze is a good choice.

Also Raze is notably smooth in therms of gameplay as well.

Oh yeah, if you deactivated autoswitch weapons this could cause a bug.
I fixed it now and it should be working in this week's release ^^
