Okay guys, after reinstalling SWFOC after about two years away from the game I have to say, I am IMPRESSED. The state of the modding community has been dire, with few new good mods popping up. I've been waiting for UEaW for a while, and that seems to be vaporware at this point (no offense UEaW guys, but even you don't sound convinced it's coming out) and so I started looking around for another mod. I remember finding Imperial Assault 2 a while back and tracking it's progress after seeing some of the amazing map and model work, and when I realized, THAT'S YOUR MOD, (at least the ICW stuff) after it died, I was very excited. The intro screen and then new GUI is amazing, really high quality stuff. The bugs are minimal and the balance seems to be pretty good. I've been playing for about 10 hours now, in the first Isard GC on medium and I will say I'm getting pretty overwhelmed. Even with the galactic speed on the lowest setting every 15-20 seconds I'm getting Imp forces approaching. Thank god for the Ion cannon or I would have been toast a long time ago. Great mod, keep up the great work. Looking forward to 2.0 but will be playing nonstop despite. Also, props for using Desura, which is pretty much a must have for quality mods these days.

Hey, as Homeworld 2 is one of the best interfaces for a space combat RTS ever, and having loved the sacrifice of angels mod, and all of the various HW2 mods, i've been waiting for a ST HW2 mod for QUITE some time.

will this mod be compatible with the Steam release of DE?
