The graphics are great, but the gameplay is a bit lacklustre. Its mostly mediocre. Not the best nor worst mod I've played.

The people who rate this as low as they do are out of their minds. This mod 100% goes above and beyond in the effort department. Unfortunately, its an ugly as **** mod, and people only care about looks when it comes to mods (I'm a Modder myself, and I put zero thought into anything I make, but my maps are pretty so people like them).
About 3-5 years ago, there were a lot of people making fun of something clearly made by a kid. Its unlikely that whoever made this is still a child, but its still quite mean that people in the comments did this. So I'm going to give this 10/10 because even though its clearly not very good at all, its someone having fun. And that's really what modding is all about.
This mod is terrible and vastly inferior to Obsidian Conflict in every way imaginable. Its an utterly dogshit mod. Don't let any synergy fans gaslight you into thinking it was ever good, it wasn't. The maps sucked donkey **** even back in 2008. I mean honestly, look at these ****** *** maps and tell me they belong in a major mod project? They literally look like children made them. They had no quality control for Synergy what-so-ever, they would add anything to it. No matter how ******. **** Synergy, it sucks ****. Go play Obsidian Conflict instead.
Coal, otherwise known as Coalposts, derives its name from the real coal rock. Coal is known to be the opposite of gem on places like Soyjak.party. Unlike gems, which are high quality and uncommon; and the average post, which is wholly average and neither coal nor gem; your average coalpost is a special combination of low quality and low effort. Coal does not serve any use for the community other than to occupy space that could have been a gem, making watchersby hopelessly lament what could have been. Coal is doubly detrimental because it floods gems off the board to be forever lost to continuous coal spam. This mod is the definition of Coal.
Not only is this game a lot of fun, but the story is actually REALLY good. The characters have actual development and are really likeable, they feel like real people. Almost no triple A games have writing this good. Anyone who says games can't have good stories must play this!
