the textures are upscaled by 2x, and I removed the new normal maps since they did not fit the atmosphere of the original game. in other words, the new graphics are still there, just redone to fit the original atmosphere.

this is for those who can't play portal RTX or who just want a refreshing experience without RTX, this also has more features than RTX like the new extended campaign, the new sound and particle effects, and a bunch more.

not sure, I hit a lot of road blocks that had me restart development, this mod is not dead, however, I just won't be posting articles anymore because I would prefer to focus on the development mod

I am using an env_projectedtexture with some reshade effects to make it more realistic.

No, they are the original portals with a sharper noise filter. Though they are inspired from blue portals.

actually, yeah, they do kinda look like the portal RTX cube, however I added this texture before the portal RTX announcement LOL!

I already know about this, but taking a look at this it just doesn’t look good, everything is metal and either too dark or too bright, plus this mod will feature way more than fancy reflections so stay tuned
