Man I would love to see a finished version of this, any plans to go back to modding?
Im already working on some bigger project and the quality of this mod dosent represent my actual skills! Anyway i uploaded the whole mod repository so if someone else want to continue this they can.
Interesting idea you have here, however, wouldn't you rather revamp and re-imagine the maps instead of just making them near-identical to the original? Good work nonetheless.
not really i want it to be faithfull to the original, but after all the map are released in the testing, ill do a revamp of all the maps so we will see

that wont happen sorry, since black-mesa didnt give the source code and they wont (i already asked them), it is impossible to add new npcs and weapons without that trust me i already tried and did hours of research and asked multiple experienced mapper they all said the same thing its impossible saddly :(, im just remaking all the maps for black-mesa and using their assets and npcs and im pretty happy with that though
Actually it's sort of possible, with Hammer scripts, not sure exactly how but it's how Gonarch and Nihilanth were made in fan made Xen mod for Black Mesa.
okay well not worth it tbh, i never planned that because i dont want to so i wont do it.
Ambitious. Not sure if it's needed. People that wanna play Black Mesa probably play it for a reason. People that prefer nostalgia probably just play hl1.
I believe your time would be better suited in creating a fancy modern Black Mesa mod with maps that makes ones jaw drop. But of course do what what ever you desire and whatever makes you happy. Good luck and tracking.
i really dont see why it wouldnt be nedded, people will like or not its oka im fine with it y but its my latest project and im happy with it and having fun making it at least so i dont see any reason to do another mod for now (i got no regrets that is a orignal mod that i will continue making after this mod) but thanks i will take my time to make it look good
