Hello everyone Baz here from FOK mod team, I hope everyone is well! Small update with new units we hope to add this year. Here's the first version of FoK for Soulstorm! Compared to the DC version, Firestorm over Kaurava features a completely revamped combat system, plus new units, new wargears, and two new factions, Inquisition (which can choose to pick between Ordo Hereticus for Sisters of Battle or Ordo Malleus for Grey Knight), and Dark Eldar! Enjoy!

does this now/will it ever include the new models from the new codexes, and the new units that were released in the past few years? (The riptide, gorknaut, wraithknight, etc.)
Not now. Our current modelling resources are just too limited. We still have missing units from the older codexes due to lack of models (chaos just got their dreads in this release), let alone stuff that came out just last year or wasn't even officially released yet like the gorknaut.
In the future, who knows. If somebody was willing to donate some modelling work for those units, certainly.
Heh, I could add some environment art using UDK or UE4, but it's gonna take me a few more months of straight practice before I can model anything like that :P
dark eldar are in regularly add like chaos demons pdf or something else. other wise great keep it up.

I made a mistake when compressing the mod, and what was uploaded was an earlier version of FoK for SS.
I've already uploaded a patch to moddb that adds the more recent changed files, but will take a bit of time to get approved.
And the patch is out! You can find it on the downloads section.

This is an awesome mod! The gameplay makes it feel like an entirely new game. I've been trying it out against the AI and it's been challenging. However, it seems that I can't play against the Black Templars. The console says "failed to load AI: blacktemplar_race" is anyone else experiencing this?
Black templars don't have a working AI for FoK soulstorm yet. We hope to be able to add it at a later date.
With me the Black Templar AI doesn't crash or generate errors, not that they actually do much though...
Are the Space Marines also not completely implemented? they don't seem to tech, like the Chas in the DC version... Chaos and Orks do seem to function "normally", haven't tried out the rest of the factions' AI. Could also mean that my game needs a reinstall...

I must admit that I was really waiting for Ultimate Apocalypse update to come out, because I've stopped tracking FoK/PoK long time ago. But now? Well, f*ck UA. The best codex mod out there is back in town. And I'm getting the most strange kind of a boner right now.

Despite of the overall buggines of the release, if that's the sign of things to come, I'm very excited. Thought FoK/Pok were done for. Welcome back from the grave! :D
Didn't have a chance to try FSoKronus, so I've just tested FSoKaurava for the first time. Fuh, titanic work, should I say. I need a lot of time to realize everything. Just hope that the limit of units will be increased in future for much bigger battles with all these units.
hi like the mod but having some tribal with the inquisition both barracks and the vehicle building are not building troops or vehicle
Generator. Did you build it nearby? Now you have to.
can't seem to produce Sisters of Battle, like I select them as a faction and select to build a squad of Sisters and there is no percentage number coming up or anything, is that your problem or is it me?
Think this is the same for certain units in other factions

is it just me or does black templar ai not work played random on 4p bloodshed alley but my black templar team mate does nothing doesn't move units from where they initially spawned or build buildings

after testing this for about 1 week these are the major issues that iv found.
1st. the fact that buildings need power generators to produce units and upgrades is good but also causes problems with AI as most of the time the AI just doesnt builds the generators.
2nd.All of the 4 factions of Imperium aka Space marines, Black templars, Imperial guard and Inquisition AI is not working properly with black templars lacking any kind of AI. IG causing game to crash and space marines not building listening posts.
3. Orks seem to be the most complete faction at the moment with proper working AI... however they seem to be overpowered too.. a Squad of Slugga boys taking out a Squad of Assault terminators just doesnt seems right.
4.Dark eldar are amazingly weak at the moment.
5. Eldar not building any vehicles other than Wraithlords and using too many Ranger squads is a bit overpowered as they can take out space marines with 2 shots as well as do considerable damage to vehicles.
6. Tau empire AI is very random at times it plays well with vehicles and infantry where as other times tau refuse to build any kind of units
7.as with the orignal fok for dark crusade Black templars seem to be a weaker version of orcs. with huge numbers and not that much quality. the sword brethren are equivalent to a normal squad of space marines which is not a good thing given the small limit of them we can make.
8. Necrons are pretty much the same as tau in their randomness at times they tend to build up everything even monoliths and at times they just refuse to build anything other than necron warriors.
9. The inquisition seems to be working alright in terms of gameplay with Odo mallius wing being pretty op. ( Paladins are badass) however the witch hunters are sort of week as the lack armor and the AI refuses to go for the Odo mallius build.
10. Chaos is working very well however their refusal to build vehicles and Uber units makes them easy once we get anti infantry units up. Obliterators are v op which is a good thing.
Overall pretty much all of the issues i found are associated with AI. as no1 i know plays with FOK i use single player skirmishes and the lack of decent imperium factions AI makes the game less fun.
There are certain icons missing here and there but nothing game breaking.
Apart from getting fatal AI errors both times I played, some things were just strange, like when playing chaos and going for Tzeech, Rubic marines cost 0 RP and EP? Also, many times I could not add reinforcements and champions to them - even though I could add to other squads. Also, a strange number, something like "$300011 key unavailable" were displayed at the right side of the screen all the time. I wonder if this is how things meant to be, or I installed things wrongly?
So i hate to be that guy but i extracted everything and the module but there is nothing on the in game manager.
