doom and VR? Damn, what odd times to live in. Possibly, I have been thinking about it. I am working on a new project at the time being, so I will try and get that done when the time comes.
Okay so I like the update but I have a couple of complaints. First off, every weapon that needs to be reloaded doesn't start off loaded and that's a problem. In fact I don't like the idea of reloading in a game like Doom or quake at all, so a option to disable it would be nice.
Damn, I worked pretty hard on those reload animations. But fair enough, I wanted it to be a little like Doom 3, crappy shotgun not included. I'll see if I can learn how to make an options menu(yeah I don't know how or I already would have done it). Time to study Brutal Doom's code again I suppose.
really nice update, but if i where you i would make a map set for it because i personally play on Ultra Violence and it seems that i was lacking quite a lot more ammo then usual. which is a great thing as it makes you want to use more of your weapons, but i can see it being a pain in the *** for some people. and who doesn't want a doom 3 styled map pack for doom? anyways as i said nice update keep up the good work!
Is it possible to update this Mod? I would like to play it with the latest version of GZDoom but this Mod is not supported. I like your reload animations by the way ;)
Sorry, A few hours before using the mod I had gotten a new version of GZDoom as mine was outdated, pretty badly too. After a few more hours the Mod started working, Also its impressive xD
I did notice some bugs though, Every once in awhile when I start the game the models animations will be bugged, when shooting or reloading the gun will disappear and reappear when the animation would normally end, I have not figured out what triggers it. Also no offense to the reload animations, there pretty good for the fact its a 3D model in DOOM but I was just wandering about the pistol, I could not see how the reload really made any sense, is it just bugged or...?
search up in settings for a reload setting. from there you can bind whatever key you want to be your reload key. and by that, i mean if you pick anything other than r we will make sure you never walk again.
Well god damn, this is a pretty good mod. I applaud your effort and work. What makes me pretty happy is that it's still compatible with some select mods, as some others like this don't support them. Rock and Stone.

I´m playing it at 110 fov in a laptop, the plasmagun cuts, if you wanna make it longer it would be great, but if you don´t want I don´t mind a lot. Again, thank you for making this and for sharing it !!!!
EDIT: BIG BUG: If you finish the level, doing a punch, when you enter the new level you have not any weapons. It happened twice to me by accident.
EDIT2: I´t would be nice to have a button to quit all the dead bodys from the ground, to improve performance. Because in maps with a lot of corpses the game could lag a bit.
great mod! just one minor complain. you can't shoot the shotgun while it's reloading, must wait for it to finish all 8 shells, would be better it I can shoot during reloading animation
i think this must be the best 3d doom mod i've ever seen! althroug theres somethings that i think it needs some changes, like make the reloading optional, make that we dont need to reload every gun right after getting it, make that we can shoot even when reloading, and changing/adding more particles to the revenant rocket (cuz its really small and the lack of particles makes it really hard to see and dodge in the heat of battle) but despite everything, great mod overall! (sorry my bad english)
its not working for me, all the models are squished and flicker. I am using the newest version of gzdoom and its still not working, I have models enabled. :(

Is there a chance you can make a version without the 3d weapons so we can use custom weapons with it? I run Doom through a VR engine.

It is supported. What errors are showing? Just tested, Works fine.

No, I simply made a ****** animation. Honesty is golden.

Pls help, i got a script error, it says: "script error, "DOOM3D.pk3.weapons" line 30, invalid parameter 'a_startsound'"
I´m having a lot of fun with this mod.
If you want to improve, it would be great to:
- See the grenades you have in any moment.
- Put a button to clear all the gore from the floor ir order to avoid lag and improve performance.
