Europa Barbarorum is a total conversion for Medieval II: Total War: Kingdoms and successor to Europa Barbarorum for Rome: Total War. The aim is to give the player an even better gaming experience compared to EB1 on the RTW engine and a deeper comprehension of the ancient world and its correlations.

Just curious, if Medieval 2 on Steam was to hypoteticly have steam workshop support, would that make the creation of this mod any easier?

Did Saka arrow damage get a nerf,??? they seem super weak compared to EB1 even on easy difficulty hitting from behind their ranged does nothingĀ“, it's super weird for a hit an run faction to be so weak at ranged, oh and foot archers out range them lol and they even seem to be more prone to splitting up and wandering into the nearest spearmen even when you tell them not to.

It's a completely different engine, comparisons to EB1 are meaningless.

EB1 had hugely overpowered horse archers, that is no longer the case in EBII.

Of course foot archers, who have larger bows with heavier pull, outrange horse archers.

Arrows are most effective targeted at the rear and unshielded flank of enemy units.

Go into your medieval2.preference.cfg and look under [video].

It should be set to:
show_banners = 1

can i just download 2.35 EBII without another drive. I just have my C drive. Does it require me to move my M2TW game into some place else. I have other mods to play so it is not easy to just move it out of program files 86

Just create another folder outside of Program Files/(x86). Example: C:\M2TW.

Hi,
Many years of enjoyment.
Carthage should have focused on Sicily.

Downloaded mod onto my new strong computer (Steam). Battles crash?
Toned done graphics - battles load, start then crash in the middle.

Thanks
